  • Mirrors, cheap and easy to put on the bike

Bike. Very good shape and service. My bike looks like motorcicle

  • Here's a Product That May Save You From an Injury
Color: Black
I recently purchased an electric bicycle that has kept me amused since last summer, but that's a story for another time. When I received the bicycle, I also began to purchase certain safety gear such as a helmet, gloves, etc. Having been a lifetime motorcycle enthusiast, I was well aware of the need for safety equipment before venturing out in the midst of traffic. After some riding on my newfound toy, I became acutely aware that I would need some means for a better view behind me since my old neck just didn't swivel like it used to. That's when I discovered the Addmotor Bike Mirror on Amazon.com. The price was sure right and the product was a great addition to my biking experience. The view afforded to the rear when riding sure has improved and I like the look of the mirrors, too. The mirrors are very light but sturdy and are easily mounted on the handlebars with the provided clamps. The mirrors are easily adjusted while adding a wider field of view to my limited neck motion. ... show more

  • They look great but a bit small. Hard to see sometimes.
Color: Black
I definitely like the way these look. They seem manufactured well. You will need two tools. A socket wrench and an Allen wrench. No instructions or tools were included so make sure you have what you need. Not sure of the sizes off the top of my head. You will get two mounting brackets. Start with adding the rubber peel off stickers to the inside of those mounting brackets (not on the handlebars) Find a good spot you want them to go and don’t be afraid to move a few bike accessories over if you need to make some room. The brackets are pretty small so nothing major will be affected if you do move some accessories. Finger tighten the bracket so that both bolts are evenly tightened (ones not tighter than the other). Next I highly recommend taking the large Allen bold (silver bolt) and pre threading and tightening it down then taking it back out before actually mounting the mirror. Helps guide the bolt better when you install the mirror. Next you grab the mirror for the side you’re working on and take a flat tool and pop the black bolt cover off ( I just used one of the black washers that came with the mirrors) first put in one of the silver lock washers then the silver bolt. On the bottom side where the bolt come out is where you put the black washer (in between the mirror assembly and the handlebar bracket) tighten it down enough so it it tight enough to make adjustments and doesn’t move loosely. Sit on the bike and figure out the position you desire and tighten the handlebar bracket bolts evenly (tightening one down fully than the other could snap the bracket) EVENLY tighten the bolts. Once you find the position you like and the bracket it bolted down. Tighten the mirror bolt put the black cap back on and you’re done. Very beginner friendly. ... show more

  • Functionality
Color: Black
I have to admit I am in my 70s and I’ve been installing aftermarket mirrors since I was a kid. I have to be Frank. I have never installed mirrors that are made to such perfection. You can’t ask for better adjustment zero vibration and the hardware used exceptional. Ease of installation no problem. I would overly recommend these mirrors to anyone. ... show more

  • Not the best design but...
Color: Black
Like others have said, the mirrors are a bit small, the arm doesn't stay well, and the main clamps are made of cheap cast aluminum and the threads will strip if over torqued. That said I did a few things to help and I'm using them. 1.) add a 3/8 inch lock washer with inside locking burrs to hold the mirror arm firm without over tightening. 2.) I mounted them upside down and they work really well. They don't get in the way of my bike cover and the view is completely unobstructed. It works really well mounted this way. I think it looks nicer too. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Good mirrors for my adult tricycle
Color: Black
I feel safer having these on my trike, and not having to turn my head to look behind me so frequently is a big help and reduces muscle soreness, made worse by fibromyalgia. These stay in position fairly well and give me a clear view in the mirrors. Also, they do look pretty cool on my trike. I'm very pleased with this purchase and recommend this product. ... show more

  • Doesn’t stay put
Color: Black
These are installed on my bike and I use them only because I’m too lazy to take them off. Every time I hit a bump, the mirrors move out of place and I keep having to pull them back up to see behind me. Not great.
