We have wrought iron fencing surrounding the entire back of our property. Unfortunately, due to erosion there are gaps underneath the edge of the fence. That means our pup (and other animals) have the ability to get in and out easily under the fence. So I looked for something to block the gap, would look good, be sturdy, and have a good weight. Although I had a bit of an issue lifting the box upon arrival, individually each section isn't hard to use or lift. This works to stop those gaps, blends in well enough with the existing fencing and decent value. Haven't had them that long to speak to the longevity, but will say that they certainly seem sturdy enough to go the distance despite the Texas weather. These dog barrier fences are wonderful. One of our dogs is lovingly call Harriet Houdini because she is a real escape artist . We think she has finally met her match. She is extremely strong, but the barriers are well built and hefty. The directions recommend using a rubber mallet which did not work in our hard ground. A hand sledge work perfectly though, using gentle persuasion. We did buy the heavier ones so I don't think the way we installed ours would work on the smaller ones. These worked to deter our 80 lb dogs from digging under an uneven portion of our fence. They were easy to install and seem sturdy. The only downside is they're smaller than I imagined and you need a lot to cover a wide area.

I bought the 15 pack and these worked really well to keep critters/groundhog from burrowing underneath my raised garden bed areas! They are steel and are driven into the ground so they are either nearly flush or slightly above ground should you want them that way. They work in conjunction with fencing that is already there. Use a soft head mallet to drive them into the ground, alternating tapping them down from each ends. They go into the ground easier if the ground is wet. So either wait till after a rainstorm or hose down the area to somewhat soften the dirt. Watch out if driving them into rocky ground as can bend or break them when striking a rock. Seller sent them very quickly after ordering and packaged them very well to prevent damage! I will be ordering more to cover some other areas around my property! ... show more

Update 03/15/24 - Full refund received after the seller, Adavin, got involved nearly two months later. Received a note from Adavin out of the blue asking if my issues had been resolved and I informed them of the runaround that Amazon had given when trying to refund the whole order. Less than a day later, I was informed that the remaining amount had been refunded from my original order. A quick check with my credit card confirmed this. Overall, I am very pleased with Adavin's help in resolving this issue, even though it took so long. I do not fault Adavin for this as Amazon is clearly the issue in this situation. Adavin did point me to other products that would likely be more durable given my little 20lb dog's relentless digging efforts. I don't have the money for the more expensive options, and actually have moved on to another solution since my dog continued to dig out. This product would serve as a good and inexpensive fencing solution otherwise. Thanks Adavin for resolving this! I ordered three packs of these, going for least cost per foot to help keep or dog from digging under our fence. Main issues out of the box: 1. these are NOT sturdy or durable. They are easy to install and lock together, but they bend very easily. 2. Solder/weld joints are easily broken. While digging, our dog was able to bend the legs and then eventually break the weld points off and then just squeeze through the opening created by the loose leg. Cosmetically, these look great and do serve a purpose, just not to block a serious digger (escape artist) trying to make it out of a fence. Scratch this solution. ... show more

One of my dogs is a digger and we first tried the netting that you staple to your fence planks and bury under the ground. Not only is that a pain to put up, but a bunch of tree leaves got caught up in them. This is so much easier, all you do is push it into the ground. Love them!
