These worked great in my chicken enclosure. The chickens kept trying to dig out underneath their fencing, so used these to stop them from getting out. Easy to unstall and very sturdy.

I read several reviews that mentioned welds breaking when hammering on them. I used a regular hammer and they did just fine. I recommend installing them directly after it rains. Maybe that’s why mine did so good.

These are solidly built - there were some areas that I really had to pound with a sledgehammer to get them deep into the ground and not a single one broke, and only had one spline bend and that was when I tried to hammer it into the cement around a fence post. I thought the black paint looked better than plain galvanized, the the double horizontal rails did a better job at keeping critters out and probably helped with the stability. My only complaint was I wished they were a little cheaper. Initially ordered a pack of 25, but ran out, so I'm ordering another pack! ... show more

They are very easy to install. I put them around the bottom of my deck to prevent skunks, rabbits etc from living there. So far it's working.
