If you have never taken a dash a part in a car, you might want to leave this job for a professional!! Just getting to this blender door, was insane!, then changing this bad boy is a job all in it self. You need several specialty tools in order to do this job, if not, you could end up buying a new dash!! Everything is plastic accept for the screws, so take your time, and you better have a manual handy. Product worked great. As others have stated, be prepared to create tools and a way to reach all the screws. After you remove the front console and floor ducting on the side of the HVAC box, you realize there is no convenient way to reach all the screws. Thanks Ford.... I did not have dual zone and replaced the unit only on the drivers side. It would be helpful if you have a friend to assist with hands the size of a 2 year old. ... show more

    • Works like new and saved hundreds versus going to a shop!
Works great, was a hassle installing myself as under the steering wheel and dash area is so tight but that’s not a problem with the actuator itself. Once I got it installed, hot air again! Works like brand new, if you know how to install this, I suggest purchasing this and saving yourself hundreds of dollars versus going to a shop. It is worth the time and effort. Looks and acts just like the factory blend door actuator. Hopefully it’s got better quality gears inside. If you’re looking at this part you probably already know what it’s for. Just a heads up, this part is a bi**h to install. Be prepared to swear a lot. It’s in such a small and awkward space, getting the bolts back in was like crawling in broken glass using no hands on your back. While on fire. ... show more
