Description

This Action Pump EZ-55 pump is a double action drum pump for fluid delivery on both up and down strokes. It is made of polypropylene and polyethylene for resistance to a wide range of acid, alkaline, caustic, and chlorine-based chemicals, oils, crop chemicals, diesel and liquid fertilizers. The design of the pumping mechanism eliminates the parts that wear for longer life of the unit. It has a high-volume delivery at low pressure for safety when pumping harsh chemicals. It has a 2" National Pipe Straight (NPS) adapter and a 2" buttress adapter. This hand pump is suitable for metering, plating, sanitary, chemical, and coolant applications, among others.

    • Does not fit barrel.

It is a very nice pump, BUT the adapter to screw into the pipe thread on a barrel is the wrong thread pitch. The thread pitch on the pump is much finer then the barrel. If it would would screw down on the barrel properly it would get five stars. I would return it, but it is too late.

Bought this to have on hand to pump liquid out of drums when I would eventually need one based on the reviews. Finally used it last week and it worked as described. Needed to use it again this week and now it just shoots the liquid all over from the stem seal with no way to fix it. Complete garbage and since it’s past the 30 days before I even used it my only alternative for wasting the extra money spent on this hunk of junk is putting this piece of garbage in the trash. ... show more

I've set up a few 55 gallon water barrels just in case there is ever a potable water disruption. I purchased this pump so as to not have to worry about getting a siphon system going and just to be able to pump out the water I needed. Super happy with it and for my purposes worth the extra cost as compared to the small siphon pump units. This thing will move some water. ... show more

I have several products in 55 gal drums. This was the 4th pump I tried (sorry, Amazon) for my most viscous product, which is water based. This pump is a dream. No priming until your arm is going to fall off, just an easy setup and and easier dispensing experience. 5/5 would recommend to a friend.

I use this product to pump vegetable glycerin out of a drum. Previously I had other pumps from a different manufacturer that didn't last. This pump seems great so far. Does the job just fine without any issues. I love how fast it allows me to empty out a whole drum (gives you a nice workout too). The pump seems sturdy enough and based on my experience, I'd recommend it to others (will update this review in the case any issues should appear). ... show more

Using this for glycerin in a 55 gallon drum. Works great! Gets about a pint or so per pull. It's double action, you get flow going up and down. The nozzle rotates to keep spilliage to a minimum. Highly recommend!

I am using these pumps on 55 Gallon Liquid Organic Fertilizer. They work great and they are AMERICAN MADE!!!. The safety cap is nice and simple to use. We appreciate the simple excellence. We are a, MADE in the USA buyer. And we return cheap foreign products sold under false pretenses. Now the shipping has a lot to be desired... Who ever oversized the box was nuts...! You could have shipped me fifty (50) of these in this size of a box... This is wasteful... See the attached picture. ... show more
