It came early. Pushed in the two pins and that completed assembly. The stool is sturdy, lightweight and unfolds easily and folds back up just by picking it up by the handle. I ordered the 16 inch so that I could easily reach the top of some walls I need to clean. It does that easily, I'm 6'0. It is kind of high to step up on and if I had it to do over I'd order the shorter one. However, it is the perfect size to sit on while working on something on the floor. I'm afraid to use it, and I still have to rig-up some kind of reinforcement to make sure that it doesn't collapse when I'm on it .Yours is different. You can step on it with confidence.
