Overall a pretty good monitor- the PPI is pretty wicked at this size and the brightness and colors pop. The only downsides to this monitor so far are the viewing angles and HDR- The viewing angles are okay, and nothing to fret about if you are sitting perfectly perpendicular to the panel, but going off axis by any good amount will decrease contrast. Maybe I am just spoiled by QD-OLED and CRTs... HDR also seems to not be up to snuff- there is a single "auto" option in the menu, and the quality after enabling it in Windows makes me prefer to just keep it off and use my primary monitor (Dell AW2725DF) for any HDR content. The dynamic range in SDR is already decent enough though that I am not disappointed. As a secondary monitor with no risk for burn in, I highly recommend it. ... show more

I had a hard time finding a single monitor that could fit the needs of both working from home and gaming, but this one seems to do it! For work, I wanted 4K pixel density, easily accessible USB ports for webcam and drives, built in speakers for calls and notifications, and a one cable connection (USB C). For gaming, I just needed something 120hz+ at at least 1440p. The monitor came color calibrated, has ambient light detection for auto brightness control (trends too dim, but helpful), has a proximity sensor to detect when to sleep if you step away - to save power. For work, 4k text clarity at 28" is incredible (macro shot of text attached), viewing angles are wide, colors are accurate. The speakers are poor for anything other than hearing notifications, or for video calls - better than none! At the end of day, I shut down my work computer and the monitor auto-detects my personal PC and switches over. For gaming, it's Gsync compatible, has HDMI 2.1 for consoles and DP input, 144hz, and looks great at any resolution. "Max brightness" setting on the monitor needs to be enabled for my gaming PC, and that gets more than bright enough. The stand is very flexible, I like that it rotates so easily at the base. Tilt and height adjustable. Portrait or landscape! My suggestions for improvement: remove gamer aesthetic branding from the front. Replace the individual buttons with a joystick - it's very difficult to know what you're pressing, and hard to change volume or input. ... show more

This is the first monitor I've ever used , I'm extremely pleased with it so far , the picture is unbelievably crisp and vibrant. Assembly took about 5 minutes or less , didn't need any tools or instructions, it was all very intuitive and went together easily. Only needed a minute or two of tinkering with settings to get the colors right . And it's Vsync AND Gsync compatible! The stand is the best I've ever used , any angle or height you want with no struggle or fuss. And it's rock solid. I only have two little baby gripes , It's not clear which button is the power button initially. And the I/O of the monitor is very hard to physically get to and plug things into without endangering the monitor. Nothing that isn't wrong with MANY other monitors anyway but it'd be nice if those issues were sorted out . All in all , This monitor blows me away and I think this will probably be my go-to for life. Gets a 110% recommendation from me . ... show more

The monitor has amazing price to value. If you’re looking for a great 4K monitor for gaming I would consider this one. It has hdmi 2.1 for Xbox and ps5 compatibility @ 120hz and 144hz for pc games. Running it with a 4090 and it’s just buttery. The stand is solid and has great cable management that looks low key. There’s also a ton of USB plug options and you can configure them to be powered even when the screen is off. This is great if you need to use them for a phone charger or anything similar. It is super bright in HDR mode and it’s a pretty fast monitor @ 1ms. I haven’t noticed much blooming either or any splotchy areas. I honestly have a hard time finding negatives. Maybe the only one is the menu is kind of clunky but nothing terrible. I’m nitpicking with that. I was going to get the newer LG with HDMI 2.1 but this was such a great value I decided to go with Acer. I honestly made the right choice. ... show more

Have had this monitor for about a month now, and can say without a doubt that its the best one i have owned to date. The picture is bright and vibrant. Great for both gaming, watching TV or a movie. 4k really does make the difference, and I happened to get this at a discount which makes it even more worth it. There is a small issue when I close out of certain apps on the ps5. The screen goes black for about 1-2 seconds. I am not sure why. I have tried multiple, good-working HDMI cables and its still happens. It does not happen when I use the monitor for my PC though, so I am not sure whats going on, could just be user error. doesnt make a big deal for me though. only legit complain is that the power cable is attached to a power box which is kinda chunky and unappealing to the eye. makes it a bit difficult to organize/hide cables ... show more
