Buy em buy em buy em.These things are amazing.Makes watering a breeze with no guess work.Dry top soil....good BYE pest problems.I have 3 of the four active right now and the results are just amazing.And with a gauge to indicate water level you now your good with a glance.Once you have some small roots come through the bottom of the fabric pot,they can get entangled in the wicking rope.With the roots being so small they are easy to clean.The kit comes very well laid out with plenty of wicking rope to get you started.And it can be reused but I`d advise against it.Its very inexpensive and I`d rather replace it with each new grow and not risk any kind of contamination.They are very well made.Rock solid and not flimsy.If your a serious home grower buy them.You will not be disappointed. ... show more

I placed 3 plants on the stand that were not doing that great. Droopy leaves and me not knowing if it needed water or not. So when I got the bases I took a catch man and filled it with about 1 inch of water and placed the plants in the fabric pot directly into the water to wet the bottom of the pot real good and let it soak in the water for about a minute or 2 then after putting the wick and the water into the bases I misted the top of the bases and misted the wick so everything was wet and then placed the fabric pots onto the base and within 24 hours my plants di a complete turn around and perked up and looked very happy. It's like the plants know the water is down there because the roots found that water source very fast. Amazing product. The thing I didn't like much is the level indicator and the way it could get stuck but I was able to turn the indicator until the little red thing was balance in the center and was able to tell it was free to move by lightly sloshing the water in the pot and seeing the red thing in the indicator bobbing around. ... show more

This product is great and has kept my plants fed and healthy. My only problem is not knowing what to do about the high and I mean HIGH increase in humidity due to the standing water. If you can manage that, these pots are perfect.

    • Easy to use. Works as Advertised.

Follow the Instructions and you wont have any problems. The bases work as advertised. Instructions advise you to remove pots from the base (minimum every two weeks) to clear off any roots that have grown through. If you allow roots to saturate the wicks they will stop delivering your water (feed). The water level indicators come apart. You can literally pull off the clear top, separate the base and the indicator, wipe them off and reassemble. So far I have only had to rinse them, they have not stopped working for me. I love how easy they are to use and to keep up. Very durable plastic. Has a gauge for the water level. Comes with it's own wicking rope too. It's like hydro without all the hassle of pumps and filters and waiting water and nutrients. Saves time and money. It's a win win for me. 100% Recommend.
