Very good looking book but some of the pictures and names of equipment don’t match up. Examples include: Asphalt paver has a picture of a dozer Backhoe has a picture of and excavator Grader has a picture of a dozer The good news is my child didn’t seem to notice…he’s mostly interested in eating books right now. ... show more

The book used non equipment for the alphabet. When they couldn’t find a word that start with the letter they used a word that sounded like the letter. They used Excavator for X. They used satellite for S.

This is perfect for our grandson who loves everything truck related. Thick, sturdy pages and nice graphics.

    • Inaccurate pictures and Excavator twice
Giving 3 stars because my 4 year old likes it enough to keep it. However he was pretty upset by the inaccuracies. The picture on the back hoe page was really an excavator. He also wasn’t convinced about asphalt paver (bulldozer) and grader (also bulldozer). Then the E was excavator and also used Excavator again for X. The drawings are cute, book sturdy, and rhyming lines are fun. So ultimately my son decided to keep it after first asking me to return it because it was wrong. ... show more
