I'm new to ice skating and recently bought a cheap pair of skates that seemed to go by street shoe size. I don't really know anything about shoe or blade size of quality skates, and don't really understand other reviewers' comments about those. So for anyone who is as clueless as I am, I included a picture of my skates with a tape measure showing exactly how long my blades are (just over 11.5") for reference. My girls just started skating and I didn't realize you use these for when you get off the ice and was just putting the guards back on until their coach said something. They love the designs, they absorb well and arrived quickly. Good price too.

I purchased these on November 21st and as of December 29, they are ripped. I didn’t notice until I scratched my arm putting my skates away. Super disappointed. Save yourself the $20 and buy another brand.

I have size 5 rec/hockey skates and size 8 iceskates. Medium fits either pair well. I dry my skates with a cloth then put these on before I go home, leave them on until I go back out again. My blades stay shiny and rust free.

you should probably order a size bigger bc they’re not all that stretchy, and if they’re a little too but you can just throw them in the washer and dryer to shrink them
