  • 2003 yukon xl
2003 yukon xl. Just got it 5/3/22 watch a YouTube video how to install and did it in 45 min. It does work, I can tell it's not OEM but OEM part was over $200. but it works and now I don't have to climb in through the passenger door. All the plugs match and locks and unlock with my key fob. So now I give it a 5 star. Let's see how long it lasts tho for this price. But for now. It's great 👍. ... show more

  • I can finally open my door.
Easy to install, better construction than the lock that was there.

  • Voltmeter didn't lie.
Read all sorts of different suggestions to this problem from crossing wires to possibly the BCM. Common sense tells you to try the plug-ins with your voltmeter, but nobody says it for those who don't know. If your door says "ajar" when closed pull the actuator out and test the 4 prong plug-in on the actuator. If your voltmeter doesn't beep back with the 2 sides touched it's most likely bad. Mine was. Got part in 2 days. Fast and delivered safe. Thanks to the seller for helping me get it and fix my truck. Takes a little time to get out, but simple enough if you take your time. Feel free to ask me for help. ... show more

  • 2004 Silverado 1500 door latch/actuator
Not easy to install but not terrible. Hardest part is disconnecting the plugs from the door panel as they are on the bottom and hard to see and one has a fold over flimsy plastic latch- easily broken! This part is working great- door lock unlocks now with the remote as it should !

  • 2003 Silverado 2500hd
Perfect replacement for good price. It's an old truck why spend 200 bucks for OEM? Hopefully it lasts. One of the connectors fought me a little but but it was also 10 degrees and plastic would rather have some warmth. This solved my dome lights not shutting off. my radio not shutting off. and my door open warning. Check youtube for an install video it's kind of a b1tch. ... show more

  • Solved the problem
Problem: Accessory power for radio/instrument cluster would not turn off when the door was opened. Reason: the switch that turns off accessory power failed it’s an integral part of the door latch assembly. Advice: Be sure to watch a couple of YouTube videos on how to change the latch, then it is rather easy. ... show more

  • not exactly a perfect fit
The part bolted up correctly but the rods did not fit the hole receivers they are too big and the rods needed a tie strap to keep them in place
