Cuts great with my 65 watt CO2 laser. Sure it smells but haven't cut acrylic yet that hasn't when it's being vaporized by a laser. Had some issues getting engraving to look good but may just need to dial in the settings. Not really what I'm using it for so not a big deal.

Purchased to make earrings - turned out better than I had hoped for. Colors change depending on how the light hits. See-through, so depending on your design, only have to engrave one side. Packaging was bubble wrap envelope with hard plastic corner protectors. Very happy with purchase.

    • Pretty, but not great for diode lasers (CO2's okay)

The media could not be loaded. The iridescent treatment isn't the actual solid acrylic, which is clear - and so, diode lasers will not cut it, though CO2 lasers shouldn't have a problem. I didn't realize that this was a clear sheet under it, and it was advertised as being able to be laser cut, and it was not true for my machine. I found this out when my paint coat peeled away, and took the iridescence with it, leaving only a clear sheet. It arrived lightly scratched, but I was able to polish most of those out fairly easily. Matched with the Krylon mirror finish paints, it shines more brilliantly than anything I've ever made before, and it also interacts a little with the Montana UV paint inused on it. I'm going to give this project another try when I get myself a CO2 laser. ... show more

This acrylic is beautiful but it lasers horribly. I am convinced that the others who reviewed this only looked at it and didn’t use it. I cut acrylic of this thickness all day everyday. This wouldn’t cleanly cut after 3 passes at the power I usually use. When I was removing the pieces the opal color actually ripped away form the acrylic leaving only a clear mess. The sheet cracked into shards and my pieces were so sharp I literally cut my finger on one. I couldn’t use half my cuts and it is just a mess now. Very disappointed. ... show more
