I had to remove the paper that covers the adhesive on the bracket because the paper was waxy and the strips wouldn't stick. It’s easy to stick just stick it to the wall and it looks good but one side came crashing down about a week after. It was still sticky so I was able to stick it back up. A few weeks later the same side fell. I was not able to stick it back up. I had to drill holes to keep its up. It’s pointless to buy this if I need to drill holes! ... show more

Just moved into a new apartment and wanted to make as less damage to the walls as possible as you know they will keep your deposit for the smallest things these days. So when I say this product to hang curtains that had adhesion without having to drill into the wall, I was like great! Within 3 days after installing, the whole thing came crashing down. So I noticed it came with screws and used them to reinstall and now it is sturdy. So just a word to the wise, great product, but be prepared to attached them to the wall with the included screws to keep it up there. ... show more

Ok so I had never heard of these until my friend told me about them. I'm surprised by the reviews saying they don't work. I bought them so I could hang curtains without damaging the walls. They damaged it more than if I had just put to small screw holes in. They ripped off a large section of paint on both sides. I filled them and will sand and paint them so hopefully you can't tell but if you're planning to buy these so they don't damage rental walls figure something else out. ... show more

I bought these hoping not to put holes in my wall. It was promising at first. My curtains were up and it looked great. After 1 or 2 days one set fell down, taking the paint off with it. I painted over it and took a picture or the area after being painted. I have another set still presently up that did not fall down. I'm conflicted on taking it down as I don't want it to fall ripping off more paint but getting it off may prove to rip paint off as well. The only solution it seems is to screw it in, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. I want to return it but don't want to risk taking the paint off. The first two pictures show the messed up wall after being painted over and the paint still stuck on the adhesive. The second two pictures show the one still standing strong. I didn't weigh it but I don't believe my curtains with the rod are over 10 pounds. So I'm not sure what weight if any would the adhesive be able to support. ... show more

It worked phenomenally for several months. Then, all the sudden, the on one gave way and crashed right into our lamp. Here’s the thing, only one of them has lost its adhesive-ness. We washed it, heated it, all the tricks but it didn’t work. Not sure why only ONE lost its stick, the other one is still stuck on there good and tight even when I give it a good old tug.
