  • Works great on multiple platforms. 10/10
Color: Gray Edition Pattern Name: Gamepad
Biggest thing to know is the triggers are not an axis. They’re a button (for driving games you can’t control throttle) Works as expected with emulators, and many different operating systems. The joy sticks do click in and feel much like a proprietary console controller. The buttons do not click. Overall they feel like a nice classic PS2 controller or older controller. Works great so far. Seems reliable. Lightweight yet built sturdy. Highly recommend for those who game on multiple devices. Literally connects and works with almost any device with Bluetooth in some way shape or form. ... show more

  • Amazing little controller, but had a problem with shipping.
Color: Gray Edition Pattern Name: Gamepad
8Bitdo is by far one of my absolute favorite controller manufacturers. I've owned their NES30 pro controller for years, and wanted to replace it with a new one. This controller is outright amazing in my eyes. It looks delightful and all the buttons feel super clicky and satisfying. I was also impressed to see this controller had features such as rumble, and even gyroscope controls, something I didn't expect to get on this particular model. The controller works great on my switch with no connection issues, and works good connected to my PC. This controller alone surpassed my expectations but I must give it a 4 star review. I ordered one of these controllers here on Amazon, however I was *really* disappointed to open the box and find no controller when I first bought it. I got a refund and reordered the controller the day after, so it all worked out, but that really stung to receive an empty box. ... show more

  • Decent controller
Color: G Classic Edition Pattern Name: Gamepad
This controller is well built, even though it doesn't pair easily with my Switch console. It requires holding down the start button and the Y button to begin the pairing sequence and then a click of a small button at the top of the controller to confirm the Bluetooth connection. It also cannot wake up the Switch from sleep. That said, I don't overly fault 3rd party integration into Nintendo products, as it may be difficult from an engineering perspective. ... show more

  • Awesome controller, Feels a little cheap though
Color: Gray Edition Pattern Name: Gamepad
Awesome controller, Feels a little cheap though. could use a little more weight and not such a hollow feeling. The USB C charging port is very nice though

  • Awesome device
Color: G Classic Edition Pattern Name: Gamepad
I love this controller. The feel and handling is fantastic! If there is any lag I don't notice it, I've tried it with the MegaMan X collection on my switch and didn't feel any lag. My only issue is turning it on. It has the button combination on the back of the controller but its still a hassle in terms of the Nintendo Switch each time. So worth the money! ... show more

  • Well worth the price
Color: G Classic Edition Pattern Name: Gamepad
This is an amazing controller. I've been using it on a few different systems and have had no issues whatsoever, either compatibility or with getting/staying connected. This is not the cheapest controller available, but it's sturdy and feels great. Has all the buttons of a DualShock controller and is compatible with any games that support an XBOX/Wii Pro style controller, but with the classic shape. Bonus points, this one is better for smaller hands than the others, and costs the same or less. Battery charge lasts more than a few hours, and you can play with it (paired via bluetooth) while it's plugged in to a charger. I plan on buying another (maybe a differnt color) if I ever see them go on sale, but to be honest I think it's well worth the price even at MSRP. ... show more

  • Beautiful and functional—while they last, at least
Color: G Classic Edition Pattern Name: Gamepad
I bought two of these in different colors and was pleasantly surprised to find that the build quality seemed very nice, given that these are third-party controllers. The color schemes are pleasant and add a retro touch; the ones I got recall the colors of the North American SNES controller and the Game Boy. The shape and layout is essentially that of an SNES controller, but with analog sticks and an extra pair of shoulder buttons. Connectivity is straightforward. Four interface modes (Mac, XInput, DInput, and Nintendo Switch) are available, so whatever it is you're trying to connect to, odds are it will recognize these controllers in one of the four modes. While the instructions don't mention it, you can connect these controllers to iOS devices with a few extra steps. After registering them in Switch Control, they'll appear in the list of Bluetooth devices just like other controllers, and they work as expected in games with controller support. The buttons all feel pretty decent. The shoulder buttons are perhaps a little on the small side, but you get used to them quickly. I didn't expect the sticks to be anything special, but they feel smooth and responsive. These aren't merely cheap junk with premium branding. They cost more than the average third-party controller on Amazon because they are, in fact, better. After using both of the controllers evenly for about a year (i.e., one at a time, so each one got about half a year's worth of effective use), the rubber grip on one of the analog sticks developed a tear and began coming off of the stick. I've retired the controller that developed this issue, as the damaged grip digs into my thumb if I try to use it. The other controller has yet to show any signs of the issue, for what that's worth. If you're shopping for a go-to everyday controller that will see lots of use, consider getting a backup. ... show more
