This was a nice dress...IF you are comfortable with a very body hugging look. I ordered the dress for a concert, but unfortunately, didn't get it out of my mailbox until after the concert was over. It all worked out because I had already prepared to wear something else just in case. When the dress came, I did like it because it's a very pretty dress. However, I returned it for a couple of reasons: For ME, the fabric made it feel more like a sexy and elegant piece of lingerie more so than anything I would wear out in public; and the other reason was that ultimately, I would have wanted the back of the dress to be lined to the top (it's all lace in the back like it is in the front) and I would have wanted the lining of the bodice to come down just a little longer. Even with those "issues" it's still a very pretty dress and it fit nicely---not to tight, not too loosely (I ordered a 3X even though I tend to wear 14-16 on the bottom and anywhere from an 18-20 (1X) to 22-24 (2x) on top)....I just wanted to see how it would fit since some of the reviews said to "go bigger" due to the snug fit around the middle). Overall, I chose to give it 4 stars because it is a pretty dress, it fit nicely, it was a good length (I'm 5'9) and it'd be a lovely inexpensive dress to wear if you're not looking for anything too fabric heavy, if you have a semi-formal event and don't mind showing a tad bit of skin through the lace; or if you have a hot date with your significant other and want to be seductive and sexy! :-) ... show more

Im a 3xl-4xl This doesnt really do much for your body The bottom portion of gown doesnt flare out like in photo And would need to be altered with some tulle underneath it to make it look like picture and give mermaidish appearance I would have to wear a slip or girdle to smooth out the appearance of my cellulite and pudgy bits Color was beautiful Lace is a bit scratchy Hemline is ok if wearing low profile heels Im 5’7 ... show more

Beautiful dress. Not itchy like I expected because of lace. I will say that the material is stretchy and I could have gone down a size. I am typically a 1x (size bought) but could have gone down a size. The neck collar was very loose and didn’t fit my neck area well. That could be another reason as to why so should have went a size down. ... show more
