Initially, I bought these to tie the ends of my piping bags but since then I’ve found other uses for them. Imagine almost any place you use a twisty tie, you can use one of these ties, and tie it more securely. These are awesome little bag ties for frosting bags. I had previously just used chip clips but often had leakage. Not with these! They secure the tops of the bags perfectly and are easy to clean/reuse.

Good for the price. They are thinner than Wiltons and do not last as long. I've had several snap after a few uses, but for the price I'm ok with it. I like all the different colors that come and use them to identify the different consistencies I'm using on a project.

I am a part time cookier and LOVE these, especially compared to normal rubber bands from the dollar store (what I used to use when I first started) for my icing bags. They are much sturdier and allow for a better close.

    • Not sturdy -- buy Wilton if you want something that won't snap the first time you use it.

Thin and fragile -- get the more expensive Wilton bag ties if you want something to last more than a single use. The Wilton ones will eventually snap, too, but only after a couple of years of use.
