This product is a variety of sizes. It works well for hand embroidery or sewing. I do not know if I would use it with leather or not. But it does work well with embroidery cloth and other cotton materials. I also like the container in which it comes. The threader is ok, but not the best.

Pic made these look like not super sharp, but not super dull, rounded on end. They all end up falling way closer to the dull, rounded tip needles. While these types of needles have their place, it is not exactly what I was looking for. However, I LOVE this case! Nicely magnetic. Closes very securely, yet small enough to fit in small pockets, and yet not too small that it’s lost. Very durable metal, too! Overall, I would give them 4.5 stars ... show more

These needles are sharp and have large eyes and are different LENGTHS. They do not vary in weight/thickness. They are thicker than a Size 4, so if you want a heavy needle for hand sewing fabric the weight of canvas or heavy denim these are for you. If you need a finer needle for regular sewing these will be much too coarse. The brass ring meant to be used as a thimble on your middle finger fits down to the 2nd joint of my pinkie finger ... show more
