Bought the bag for carrying SM57/SM58 and it fits the bill nicely. Another reviewer suggested using soaking the foam to restore the shape, it does work. However, I would suggest using the hairdryer instead -- I've managed to restore the foam quickly.

I guess this is actually made for big bulky wireless mic/transmitters, but for standard 57/58 type mics there's too much space at the top so the mics aren't really held securely. BTW i soaked the foam inserts in water and let them dry for a couple of days to expand them and that works as long as you're not planning on going on the road the day you get the case. ... show more

Not sure vacuum packed foam ever expand to provide 8 mic capacity... Hasn't happened for me after a day. But that's ok as I'm using it for 4bstd dynamics + cables, clips, and misc related. Not the most rebust case even for that purpose, but decent and far less likely expensive than alternatives I could spot. Can the vacuum packed foam expand to strongly protect 8 wireless mics? That's a gamble that I'd put odds against, but it also one I'm not really struggling to make happen... ... show more
