I really liked this crochet hair and wavered what rating to give it, a 3 or a 4, so I will go with the 4. It was very easy for my braider to do it, the crochet needle that came in the bag did hurt a bit, so I wished she used her own. I did need more hair than 8 packs as another reviewer recommended, so I am glad I bought a second bag. My braider used 3 extra packs from the second bag. The color is very pretty, and the quality seemed better than my first hair I bought in January (another brand) . The hair was tight for several days and then it would itch, and the ends of the hair would prick through my blouses and tops in the back so I had to use my back scratcher several times a day, so that was annoying. I did not break out though. The hair was mostly tangle free as it states, I still used my wig spray from Shea Moisture, and braid sheen spray and mouse, it did get tangled underneath due to the friction of my hair and the clothes, so that was expected, it would detangle once I used the products. I was much better at taking care of the hair, using the larger sleeping bonnet and shower cap. The biggest con was that the hair was so silky so the knots would loosen up from the corn rows, and that made me feel uncomfortable. I had to tighten them frequently, thankfully no braids came out, but after two and a half weeks of wear I was ready to take them out. It served it's purpose for my trip to Napa Valley and to my Nephews wedding. I would not purchase the hair again, maybe if it's washed whatever made my head itch would stop, but I would try another brand. ... show more

This hair was soft, beautiful, and lightweight. I did’t have any issues with the hair tangling. But, the reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the hair was slipping through the loops and I did have to consistently tighten it up during the install. But the presentation of the hair was beautiful and lasted awhile. It could be styled many different ways. The loops need to be smaller. ... show more

Love this hair. Does seem like it may tangle easily but it’s manageable. 8 packs was enough to do my whole head, but I could use one extra pack. Other than that the hair is so pretty. Be sure to purchase moose it will keep the hair from tangling so bad and also help with the curls.

You definitely need 2 packs of hair if you like your style full like mine. I purchased 1b and 1b30. The crochet loops are way too big which made install difficult but I made it work. 14 inch length is perfect and lightweight. The hair does tangle some but nothing major. These crochet braids are very lightweight, comfortable, and easy to install. The hair texture is very silky and feels like a synthetic wig, and the burgundy color is really vibrant. No smell, except that wig smell. I've had them in for almost a month, and they don't irritate my scalp at all. You can do a whole head with 8 packs, but I used every single strand and would have liked a few extra to fill in some gaps. The only issue I have is that the hair on the ends tangles VERY easily. Usually, adding some leave-in conditioner and finger detangling it works, but I have had to cut off some knots and trim the ends a few times. Love this style. Like other reviews, you can get away with one set of 8, but for a fuller look, you will need a few more packs. The only con is the hair slips easily and some of my knots aren't as secure as I prefer. Overall, still happy with my purchase and will recommend to others.
