  • FOLLOW the instructions, and I have some other tips. Great purchase!
Okay, it took us two days to build this, spouse and me. Spouse is 6'1" and needed a high step ladder to do the roof. At 5'2" I could not have done this on my own. Things to know: The grid base is not designed to be permanent. It is to keep the shed on the square as you build it. They expect you to cement it in. We bought this when our landlord said we could add a shed, to keep bikes and Christmas boxes in, and we were not able to cement it in. We bought the undermat to go with it, so we put the undermat down, put the grid on top, and started to build. AFTER it was built, we kept the grid base, and my husband cut plywood to fit and bolted it to the base. We topped the plywood with our bikes, and a heavy organizer rack from the hardware store that weighs over 60 pounds, and we put our boxes and camping gear on that. So, absent a tornado, that shed ain't goin' nowhere. It is solid and secure. Things to note: ~It says it takes 12 hours to build. I'm gonna guess, based on our experience, that's correct. ~There will be times when the instructions seem wonky. Read them over and over. My husband, a few times, said, "This doesn't work!" It does work. It just takes really understanding and following the instructions. I have no trouble with Ikea stuff, and I had no trouble with this either, though a few times I did have to read and think it through, and one time I put the left on the right and we had to re-do. Take it slow, take breaks, keep calm. And, like Sherlock Holmes, remember, if nothing seems logical/workable, then the illogical must be true. FOR EXAMPLE: *** the roof panels SAY they go a certain way, and then, low and behold, that order didn't work. WE FOUND OUT that the MOST important thing is that where the roof touches the frame (over the doors and over the back of the shed) the first panel to touch the frame must have a flat end against it, not the curled one. Each roof panel is flat on one end, and like a rectangle that is missing one side on the other. This is so they can grip (on the rectangle side). ONCE you connect to the frame by all the FLAT sides, it doesn't really matter which roof panel comes first to connect (fill in the middle) of the roof. However YOUR kit gets it done is fine. So, sometimes you might hit little snags like that, but just slow your roll and remember that the main purpose of your shed (from the perspective of the folks who made it) is to keep our water, so the way the configuration works best for keeping water out is probably the correct way. MORE NOTES: ~It comes with more screws and washers than you need, by a lot. You still will use a huge amount. ~USE the washers. You're trying to keep out water, and those are for that, and to keep the shed from rusting too, so if you put in a screw without the washer, take a moment to undo and add it back. ~We put ours up against a 6' fence. Okay, but, we were almost dumb! Don't put it so close to the wall, a fence, the house, that you cannot get behind it to build it! We had just enough room. One more hoagie for lunch and we would have been out of luck. ~Do NOT build it and then move it. Build it where you want it. If you build and then move it will not stay on the square, which means it will not be water tight. ~you need TWO PEOPLE. ~ONE PERSON MUST BE TALL and you will STILL need a step ladder. ~There is nothing that needs to be done that, as a female with small arthritic hands, I could not have done by myself. Female-friendly build! BUT my short height would have stopped me on the center roof panels. You need a tall person for that, any gender will do. So as you work through the build remind yourself: ~ I am trying to keep out water. ~I want the doors to open out. ~I want the parts to hold the lock to meet. ~I want the shed to stay on the square. ~If I take a break of a couple of hours, or come back tomorrow, it will go better. ~There are extra screws; it's okay if I drop and lose a few. ~Don't move it after I begin to build it, or ever. So make SURE I can fit behind it, beside it, as needed to build it (so you and maybe a step stool). ~I need a drill to put in all those screws or I will double the build time. ~Use the fiddly plastic washers. Maybe scissors will help you clip them apart. We twisted them off, but that did get old after awhile. It's a great shed. Perfect size for 3 adult bikes, a full set of camping gear for three adults, excessive Christmas boxes of lights and display and balls, etc., two cat carriers, a table saw, about six beach chairs, storage racks for the boxes, etc. It's perfect for us. ... show more

  • Great Mat
Used this on a shed that sets on a concrete pad. Went down easy after trimming to size. Looks great.

  • Felt top, plastic bottom, great separation from the dirt, but a little thin.
Color: 8.2x8.2 Ft
The Storage Shed Floor Mat by Sfcddtlg, is a decent way to separate from the door and keep things out, but it’s a little thin and cheap for this level of cost. I. Quality – Its lower then the cost would suggest, but it could be good enough for some. If your expecting some decent wear and tear it might not hold up real long. II. Performance – Its worked well for me in a shed that only gets gentle action, meaning just walking on it. I like the separation it gives that also removes the dirt floor. It also has kept the moisture and bugs out. Overall, this is a good option for some situations where you want a more carpet like feel, versus just putting a tarp down. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision. ... show more

  • Great mat
This is a nice mat. I will say that if you are expecting a thick mat this it not the one for you. It is thin but sturdy. It is perfect for the floor of my shed. I did not use it as a yard mat for my shed but to cover the floor. If I lived in a dry place I would have but my area is too wet for that application. ... show more
