Look—I’m reviewing this for what it is: a piece of costume jewelry. And it’s pretty decent at that. This looks flashy and vibrant in real life, but still nice enough.at this 7mm size, I’m noticing that the individual links more, and I feel them a bit more since they have a bit of heft to them. It is still, overall, lightweight. I can’t speak to its longevity, but I do not that there are some barely noticeable dings on the links, likely where they make contact with each other. I wore a thicker (solid gold) chain with a gold anchor on it for about 40 years or so, until I noticed that one of the links that secured the chain was getting extremely thin due to normal, long time wear. I was worried that I might lose the valuable chain, so I put it in the safe and ordered this one. I like the weight (stainless steel) and the 18K gold plating looks great too. It lays flat against my neck and chest and is very comfortable to wear. This chain is a good substitute while I ponder getting my original one repaired. ... show more
