Are you a vegetarian who likes ramen and spicy food? Then this is a safe buy. Please ignore the reviews that claim some of the noodles are not vegetarian. Yes! Some packages say "Artificial Chicken Flavor" or "Artificial Beef Flavor". But a quick read of the ingredients show that the "artificial" part of the title means "vegetarian imitation" , like buying the Better than Bullion Vegetarian No Chicken Bullion. Taste like chicken without actually having chicken in it. I've purchased this twice now, my first box happened to also be all vegan flavors, this box contains 1 flavor that uses powdered egg whites and milk powder (Buldak Carbonara Artificial Spicy Chicken Flavor if you're curious). Since they are advertising it as vegetarian and NOT vegan, I think this is to be expected. I got this because I really missed ramen noodles when I went vegetarian over a year ago. I cannot buy meat-free ramen where I live and I was hesitant to buy it from Amazon since most purchases necessitated buying a whole box of the same kind and I was worried I wouldn't like the flavor. This is a nice compromise, I have enjoyed all the flavors I've tried, and if I haven't, there's only been one or two packages of a flavor in the box. It's a little more expensive per packet than the non-vegetarian noodles at the store ($2.67 per package, which is pretty pricey for the Mama brand noodles in my area), but it's worth it to me to have the variety. There ARE a number of really spicy flavors in the box, so if that's not something you like, I would say pass on this product. ... show more

This is a nice package with a bunch of great ramen noodles. I've already found my favorites to order those specially. But, I still have a bunch more to try and enjoy.

As far as bang for your buck goes, this pack is a solid deal. As for flavor and quality, its definitley mixed. About half of them ate going to be larger bags like buldak and shin, but others are going to be way smaller off brands with flavors that are hit or miss. Flavor Name: Vegetarians (10 pack)
The variety is okay—most of the first shipment I received was from Vietnam, and Thailand, with a few from Malaysia. The packaging leaves something to be desired—it’s essentially just in a plastic bag. Most of the noodle packages were crushed as a result and about half the bags were punctured or popped. Most of the dried noodles stayed in their respective bags despite this. I was really surprised at the flavor profiles of the noodles I’ve tried so far. They’re both subtle, yet perfect. Never judge a book by its cover with these—some of the ones I thought might be weaker or not-so-great actually turned out to be fantastic! The price is definitely a little on the expensive side for what you get. Purchasing with a subscription gets you a discount that makes it a better price point, though still a little more than I think it should be. If you’re like me and live in the middle of nowhere with no access to an “Asian market,” then this is a neat experience and the price may be worth it. Otherwise, you’ll have to judge it accordingly to your budget. Overall, I think I will keep the monthly subscription. Tasty, fun, a bit pricey, and I wish it was packaged better. ... show more

Of this box of "mama noodles" I bought, literally less than half were even mama noodles and the others were all varieties were top ramen you could buy anywhere with TBHQ in the noodles, which destroys your immune system and I would never eat. Stay away

Bought this item because i love the normal hot and spicy ramen i get and wanted to try new kinds. When i received the package there was only one hot and spicy ramen pack which was the one i already usually get. ive had about half the package and none of them are spicy. I gave them to my GF as she doesnt like spice and i dont like non hot ramen. not worth the purchase if you want hot ramen. ... show more
