On the whole, this Pikler set is a high quality, reliable, and very sturdy toy that will last for years with proper care; even with everyday use. The issue with the set is that your children will outgrow it long before it wears out. This is due to the fact that the Pikler set is VERY small in comparison to many of the other comparable sets in the marketplace. At its highest point, the Pikler set is barely over two feet tall, which means it doesn't present much challenge to children three or older. That's disappointing when considering the up sides to this product. It is easy to assemble, folds and stores easily, and has a nice aesthetic appeal with the brightly colored rungs and pieces. In the end, it is really just a toy suitable for babies learning to stand, walk, and climb though... Once they find their feet, this won't appeal to toddlers for very long. This would be a home run if the set was bigger, but in its current form it earns 4/5 stars, overall! ... show more

this Pikler set might be the best option for the youngest of users. it is well made, sturdy and on the small side compared to so many other Pikler sets. The heights on this set are at a much lower and safer place for the littlest ones! GREAT BEGINNERS SET

    • This is a good quality set.
This set is well built from quality materials. It’s sanded to perfection with no rough spots or splinters. The colors are bright and vibrant. And it’s really fun for the kids.

    • Great for younger toddlers
This is very fun for kids three or under. It’s not very tall so it’s the perfect size for kids of that age. I like how it comes with three separate pieces so you could take it apart and do different set ups with it or use them separately. Assembling it wasn’t bad, but I definitely think you need a power tool. Otherwise your fingers will be raw from screwing them in by hand. The parts also did not come with numbers so I would definitely take your time figuring out which piece is what before starting the build. With power tools, it took me about an hour to set up by myself, so it wasn’t too bad. The material of the wood feel sturdy the colored sticks. If you rub them on other pieces, the paint does come off, but they just look like drawing marks so not a big deal. Overall, this is a good toy to have a keep kids entertained, if your child is two or younger, I would still supervise them just in case. ... show more
