Let me first say that I do not use these on their own, I use them in conjunction with a cup, and I am on the pill so I don't bleed much. So I can't vouch for how well they handle a full blast period flow for 5 days. BUT I think they are excellent for wearing with a cup or tampon if you are afraid of leaking. They are extremely soft and comfy, never had a leak or anything with them. I even wear them on non period days if I'm worried about discharge (TMI, sorry) cause they're so comfortable and easier than changing panties 3 times a day (TMI AGAIN). One downside is that, if you're going to be walking and moving around a lot, they can get pushed back into your butt and cause a little accident in the panty zone. But I usually use a safety pin to keep it in place if I'm going to work. Being reusable saves so much time and money, and I always found regular pads incredibly uncomfortable. They give you diaper rash, stink badly, leak, crumple up if you move too much, etc. No such problem with these. These are well made, comfortable and easy to wash. I am so surprised at how easy these are to use! I wish these existed when I was young and first experiencing my cycle.

I have been using these for urinary incontinence for years, at least I assume this is the same brand that I bought previously. My older ones have a white terry cloth lining. I don’t know what I think of the black microfiber lining. if it’s made of bamboo, it may be better for the environment, but the product description doesn’t address that. I had the same issue as a reviewer who mentioned them slipping backwards and not providing enough coverage for urinary leaks. My solution was to safety pin the pad to my panties in the front, however eventually I got small holes in the panty fabric. My only gripe with the latest batch I got was that two of the pads had the plastic snaps riveted on incorrectly. Both snaps were placed in the same direction so that the pad edges don’t overlap but form a pleat when they are snapped. I expect that to be less comfortable. See photo. That’s why I only gave them 4 stars. Otherwise this is a great product and I’m happy I’m using something with lower environmental impacts. Let’s hope tariffs don’t drive up the price! ... show more

These are so much smaller than the ones I'm used to. I have soiled both pairs of underwear that I tried them with on two different days. My body is a little bigger than average, I guess, but even if it wasn't, they slide back, and I get a ton of leakage out the front. I won't buy them again.
