Used to stick thick/heavy cables to back of several desks. Seem to have stayed stuck which is usually the cause of failure for these types of clips. Adhesive is marked as 3M - don't know if it really is, but still works well

This is why I gave the product a solid 4.8 stars. It does a fantastic job of blending in and hiding my long white network cable against the wall. The only difficulty I ran into was trying to separate the adhesive strip's plastic cover from it. It took some effort and quick fingers to get it off. However, after installation, this cable organizer performs flawlessly. It helps to maintain a space that is cleaner and more visually pleasant by keeping my ethernet cable neatly organized and out of sight. The adhesion is good, but I let them adhere with no wires through them for a full 24 hours before putting any stress on them . If they do loosen up some day, I will just use some superglue or something like that. But so far, they are working great, even the ones with a lot of wires passing through.

    • Sticks to other objects but the adhesive tape pulls off the clip itself

The plastic clips are okay - durable and flexible, but the 3M double sided tape attached sticks just fine to most surfaces, but not to the clips themselves. Even with relatively light tension, over a couple of days the clip will pull right off of the double sided tape, but the tape will still be firmly attached to what it was stuck to. I ended up using the clips by taking off the attached tape (which easily removes) and using glue to hold them in place - but even then some glues will not stick to these clips either. I had to experiment with several types & brands (including some that have worked great on other plastics for me) before I found one that would adhere strongly to these plastic clips (which was Gorilla extra strength construction adhesive). ... show more
