Overall moved smooth through the water, hook was sharp and great paddle tail action. Loved all the colors. The detailed paint job on these lures were fantastic. Glisten in the sun.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this item. I had no idea of the size, weight or how it would swim from the advertisement. The bait is 0.4 oz and is about 3.5” long. First off, you notice the finish and feel of the bait. It looks printed on somehow, but it looks realistic and there are small 3d features that add to the realism. The body is sightly notched between the hook and tail to aid in the swimming action. The weight is in the chin with the hook that passes thru the lead. The hook is very sharp and appropriately sized. The underside of the chin area is flat. This will help plane the bait upward when retrieved. Lastly the tail has a unique little fin and small 3D eyes that aid the realistic nature of the look and action. It casts well for a plastic bait. When retrieved you notice that flat portion beyond the mild upward force when retrieved, when resting it sits nicely on the bottom. This would be a good bait for bottom bouncing. They call it a “finease soft body swimbait” I think they mean “finesse” but in any case that is what it says. Not just a cast and retrieve lure but one you can impart a lot of finesse with. It tends to like to work a little slower than other swim baits I have. While it is just a plastic bait it is pretty good and has just what you want for working small to medium fish in shallow waters, fresh or salt water and worth the price. Lastly, the retail packaging is decent for storage after opening for a while but not as a more permanent storage box. Positives: • Realistic printed swimbait • Sharp hook • Chin weighted • Casts well • Slower retrieve, bottom bouncing • Reasonable price Negatives: • Not sure of the lifespan with that notch (time will tell) • Wish the retail case was a better storage box. Overall, this is a cool small swimbait, It works fine. I took it out back and gave it a few casts in the pond. It swims well and offers fishing flexibility. These lures look like the real thing in the water. The paddle-tail gives it a good thumping vibration as it's retrieved. I've caught a few trout and two reds on one so far, and it is holding up well.
