These brackets worked perfectly. They are well made and simple. They actually have washers and nuts with the mounting nuts that even lock in or keep the decks off the wall tlbut sturdy. The only suggestion would be to have an option or include short mounting bolts for someone that wants to mount the top of the deck facing out. (Not very common or low likelihood of being needed, my decks surprisingly did also have cool images on the top too). ... show more

There was about 50 small parts that you had to assemble to get it ready to mount on the wall would’ve been nice if it was preassembled. Also, the threaded and nut was not open ended. That would’ve been nice to secure the board a little better in my opinion, but not a dealbreaker

... and one to go. our daughter aka RevengeLover (a video game artist) designed two wood burned decks for our boys, who live with us. decided to mount one, plus a deck designed and painted by "Kick-Ass Girl" comic artist Billy Martinez (currently in Nashville), who taught our kids when we all lived in California. special decks, which needed simple displays, to highlight the artwork. we've different mounts for longboards and ridden boards of all types. these needed something simple. easy to secure, they are easily templated, making mounting on all types of surfaces a breeze (ours are on full brick and drywall). the nuts give it a cleaner line than silver. they hang just far enough out from the wall to remain unscratched yet blend perfectly with surrounding artwork. yup... five stars. worth every one of them, even at their slightly higher price-point. ... show more

What can I say, these are perfect. They hold the boards nicely and they are very sturdy. Two screws make them a lot more secure than other brands of skateboard mounts. The also include plastic washers so you don't damage the board when hanging it up.

    • Cool design to mount your decks to a wall
They do the trick but they don’t give you the same nuts from the photograph. They do sit nice and flush on the wall and as line as you set it properly it is leveled. Still disappointing to get some cheaper versions of the nuts to hold the board.

I recommend installing into wall stud and using both screws for the base. I installed bases 23" from ceiling for reference. The long board could have been mounted a little higher to make up for length, but it's okay as is. Get a stud sensor to find where studs are at. These aren't expensive. One suggestion to manufacturer is instructions show to install base on wall with pointed end up, but I recommend installing base with flat part on top (see pics). Boards/complete decks aren't terribly heavy but over time they will be exerting pressure downward. Installing base with flat side on top allows you to use a level and will provide a more secure mount over time since pressure on wall will be exerted downward over more surface area. Snug up deck posts using 7mm wrench after you get base mounted to wall. Don't over tighten as this will cause the posts to cant inwards and may affect fit thru board. Place hex nut on post 3/4" from end for decks and 1" to 1.5" for complete boards with trucks. You can remove two screws and nuts from truck and install deck posts. I kept screws and nuts in small plastic bag attached to post behind board. If installing board with trucks/wheels, install washers and security nuts (step 4 of instructions) and snug up inner hex nuts (installed in step 3) from behind board.
