I like them, but they definitely leak. I tested them, and all twelve of mine leaked water at the lid. It was a pretty significant amount of leakage too. They look great. They are not deformed or warped in any way. The top of each jar is nice, straight and smooth at the sealing surface. The lids go on perfectly and get tight, and yet they still leak significantly. There is no soft seal of any kind on the lids, so they could probably use a "cardboard" (or whatever it is) insert in the lid like all mayonnaise and peanut butter jars etc.. They are nice jars, and I will be keeping them for other purposes, but storing any kind of liquid in them won't be possible. ... show more

They are good containers and work for what I need them for; I was just saddened to find out when I went to hand wash them that at least 4 of them had shown up cracked and broken. They’re good for the price but I might look for something else if they come broken the next time I order them.

    • I ordered black lids but I received white lids. Also, they don't stack well

I ordered these specifically because they had black lids and the price was right. I have other clear containers with black lids that I stack filled with items, but I needed some of this size. When they arrived, they had white lids! I double checked that I did not somehow choose white lids. Nope. White lids are not an option. In fact, I can find nowhere on this page where white lids are even shown or mentioned. Additionally, they did not stack well. The lids are ever so slightly humped in the middle and they kept sliding off of each other at the slightest touch. I wanted to return them, but it seemed like such a pain to box them up and drive to return them for free. They were so cheap that if I paid to have the return picked up, it wouldn't be worth the time reboxing them for shipping. I contacted Amazon about it and they gave me a partial refund instead. I purchased a different brand, with which I am very satisfied. I will use these to give away items, since I don't like the way they look or stack. ... show more
