Top quality throw rug. Well made and can withstand washes without loosing it qualities. It’s very soft on the feet and I also use it for working out so soft on the whole body. The color and pattern are a little more faded and “distressed” then what I gathered from the original ad pictures. In a sense it becomes a good thing because it actually seems to hide the dirt and everyday scuffs more when it has this kind of a look to it.     • This thing is heavy…and too big for my entry

This is called an entryway rug, and I admit I should have measured my entryway before getting this, because I am terrible at eyeballing things. It was too large for my entryway, and it is heavy. It may have to do with the backing, whatever it is made of, but the rug is very dense so it weighs a lot. It has a non slip backing on it, and the design is very light…I realize it’s called distressed, but it reminded me of something that had been through the wash too many times. The design looks much darker in the pictures. Speaking of washing, the description mentions being machine washable, but I don’t think a regular washing machine could handle the weight of this thing once it gets wet. I couldn’t imagine wiping my feet on this every day, it would show everything. It is also not what I would call a rug, more of a mat…the distinction for me is one of texture. A rug as I think of it has pile, visible fibers that you can feel when you run your hand over it. A mat is more like those pretty but flimsy bath or kitchen mats, that feel like velvet on top, solid and so soft that it’s kind of slippery. There is no traction so it would be easy to slip on this. It might be really nice on the floor of a kid’s playroom, because it is very soft, but I wouldn’t put it in a place I intended to walk all the time, I would be afraid of slipping.     • Nice Lightweight Rug Perfect for Smaller Rooms

This rug is the perfect size for room that might be 10x10 or 10x12. I have it in my dining room and it's perfect. It is very light weight, which makes it easy to adjust positions when necessary. It is no so big that it fills the room too much. As I did say, I consider it the perfect size. The gray and white geometric pattern is not overwhelming and looks very nice with almost any decor. The seller says this is dirt resistant, kind of because of the fibers used. It may be, but I also think that the way the pattern is done (light gray on white, it's a lot harder to see soiling. Pretty much, vacuuming will take care of cleaning. The seller also says you can machine wash. It is a touch big and you might be able to get it in your washer if you insert carefully, possibly even considering folding it. Personally, I think it would wash better in a laundromat with the bigger washers than what you have in your home. The seller does have multiple sizes, so if you have bigger rooms than what I'm using mine in, you do have options. Generally, a really nice, very attractive rug. ... show more
