    • DON'T HESITATE ON THESE SKATES
Bought this one just to try out skating and let me tell you when I moved from rentals to this it felt really good. The aura i got was insane. I didn't get any blisters or anything plus it's just really comfy to wear. The size is true to the given size which is awesome. The blades are also sharp so, yes, no sharpening is required.     • 3-4 months still going strong
I'm still plenty satisfied with them as my first personal skates, although that itself means I have no other baseline. The quality is more than satisfactory, and I get more than enough support, the boot is a tough and rigid hardboot, which I'm a fan of as I always liked ankle stability over flexibility on inline skate boots. I was on the factory sharpen (which was infact properly profiled and concaved) till about 2-3 weeks ago and will say I recommend a sharpen pretty early on, but it's also not necessary in the sense that you can't skate without a sharpening. I also recommend you replace the laces with waxed ones as well, it helps with tightening any skates, but especially more rigid ones, alongside longer lace lifespan/durability and cleanliness. ... show more

I LEARNED SKATING AND PLAYING HOCKEY ON LEATHER SKATES DECADES AGO, SO WHEN I GOT BACK INTO IT AFTER MANY YEARS I PURCHASED THE MODERN CCM AND BAUER SKATES AND FELT LIKE THEY DON'T ABSORB ICE IMPERFECTIONS AND THE PLASTIC DESIGN FELT WAY TOO RIGID AND SKATING ESPECIALLY BACKWARDS WAS VERY UNSTEADY, SO I KEPT SEARCHING AND FOUND THESE 5TH ELEMENTS MADE OF LEATHER, FABRIC AND PLASTIC. THEIR DELIVERY WAS VERY FAST, THEY CAME IN A BEAUTIFUL BOX, LOOKING FANTASTIC, ONE SKATE WEIGHS 1074 GRAMS WHICH IS HEAVIER THAN THE MODERN SKATES, SO I WONDERED IF I WILL BE SLOWER. I PUT THEM ON TODAY FOR A TOUGH HOCKEY PRACTICE SESSION AND THE SECOND I STEPPED ON THE ICE THEY FELT AMAZING, ABSORBING ICE IMPERFECTIONS, SO COMFORTABLE, SO STABLE, WARM, ACTUALLY LIGHT AND FAST IN EVERY DIRECTION.     • Excellent value for the money
I am a so-so skater had not been on a pair of skates for about 7 years. We were visiting my son's family who live in a new home on a lake in Minnesota. They had cleared off some ice so I had to give it a go. First, the skate size match my shoe size quite well and yes, you do need to have them sharpened before using. I went just about a half size larger and was able to double up on socks comfortably. I skated two times, first time for about an hour, second time for about two hours. While the shoes are a little stiff to start with, I had no problem using them on either occasion and my feet felt fine afterwards. I cannot speak to their durability but have no hesitation recommending them for the casual skater. Good value for the price. ... show more

    • Fit well but not that comfortable.
Size fit as expected. Bought them To skate with the kids as they go to the rink weekly. They are not the most comfortable but maybe that is normal. I am no expert skater so not sure what to expect. I think they are good for the money.

I am wearing those for about 1 year and they fit and feel great. I had tried many other brands and didn't feel so comfortable.
