I got the projector to project artwork onto canvas. Using screen mirroring, I can project images from the photos on my phone. I can size these to fit almost in any size canvas. Superior clarity and color. Works well in considerably lighted space, awesome in low light.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second Wimius projector, and I think i've found a brand I can stick with. I have had many projectors since the 90s, and it's incredible what you can get nowdays for so cheap. This projector is bright enough that I can have a few lamps on in my office and still be able to see the picture. I have had another Wimius projector in my bedroom for over a year now and the lense is still in perfect condition. There have been no black spots or cracks that I've experienced with other projectors. I'll update this review if they ever start to develop. Both of the Wimius projectors that I have have a nice large screen, even from short distances. In the video I uploaded, the projector is about 12 feet away. There are some projectors that will make a much smaller screen with the same distance. The sound quality is pretty good, but there is an option to play through a bluetooth speaker, or run an audio cable to the back. The case for this model has a nice solid feel, similar to something Apple would put out. It comes in a cute little backpack for some reason, which I've found is great for taking on road trips and storing all my small electronics and cables to take into hotel rooms. If you're looking for a nice big screen that you can hook up to your laptop, phone, firetv, etc... this is a good one. ... show more

My wife and I were recently walking our dog and as we passed our neighbors backyard we heard what sounded like a movie playing so we peek over the fence and see them watching a movie outside on a projector on a beautiful night. Instant envy. I immediately began researching projectors when I got home, and finally decided to purchase this one. I chose this due to the size and ease of setup, as well as the handy case it comes in that makes it easy to take anywhere. I was blown away by the picture and sound quality because I did not expect it to compare to an HD tv for a fraction of the price. Instructions are simple and easy to follow, and allows you to use external streaming devices with ease and even comes with multiple cables that you may need. The sound is crisp and clear so I haven’t needed to use any external speakers yet, and the picture quality is top notch outdoors and I even use it in my office when I am working from home. The media could not be loaded. This projector is incredible! There are a lot of really amazing new updates and I really enjoy being able to correct the keystone vertically and horizontally. Even while watching in a bit of daylight, the colors are still bright and contrasts are still high. If you are willing to spend a little bit of money (but keep in mind, this is much less than similar quality projectors from more common name brands), this is a fantastic option for any space. The screen is pretty large even from 5ft away! The photo shows the projector playing on my wall with no screen from just over 5ft away, and the video shows the same, but with a little bit of light in the room. Notice how even when there is some background light, the colors are still crisp and contrast is still high. The sound is only at 50/100, so it can get much louder as well if needed. Overall, I'm really excited to keep using this projector and recommend others to buy it as well. WiMiUS also has fantastic customer service and will go above and beyond to make customers happy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was really impressed with the wimius w7 projector. The picture quality is astounding picture is very crisp in complete dark and with ambient light. The menu is very easy navigate. I had the projector mounted, setup and watching a movie within thirty minutes. I have been impressed with how bright the projector is. The keystone correction is amazing I had to mount the projector slightly off and was able to easily adjust without losing picture quality. The amount of fine tuning you can do with picture setting is very detailed. The zoom was also very helpful as I didn’t have the mount exactly 3 meters away without having to zoom so getting the picture to line up with my screen was on point. This projector will replace my home entertainment tv without any question. The wimius support was able to get back with me in a very timely manner when I had reached out with questions. Over all this product has checked all my boxes and then some. I will continue buying wimius products. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The WiMius W7 projector upon arrival came new in the box with a very nice carry bag that has handles on two sides along with backpack straps on the back of it (this was not something I’d expect from a projector at this price point). It also includes a dust cap where I have run into other brands which do not include such (which can be a cost savings of 15 to 20 dollars USD as the dust cap comes with this unit). The remote while small is very functional and I was able to get the projector setup in a matter of minutes. I am using this projector in the living room of a single bedroom apartment (hooked up to my HP Pavilion x360 laptop over HDMI), yet I have no issue filling a 120 inch pull up screen with video (another pleasant surprise!). The WiMius W7 was simple to setup, easy to adjust the keystone and focus, and simply works as intended. ... show more
