Description

The SU-100 was a Soviet SPG commissioned in 1944. The genesis of this model involved the need to strengthen self-propelled artillery at the end of the war. The newly constructed D10 - 100 mm cannon was mounted on the slightly modified hull of the popular SU-85. In the period 1944-46, about 4,500 units of this vehicle were produced. The SPG was very popular, serving in dozens of armies around the world. Several countries still keep the SU-100 on standby. The SU-100 SPG model is entirely designed with COBI building blocks. The inclusion of many awesome pad prints has enabled the vehicle to be faithfully reproduced. The set does not contain stickers at all, only prints! And the prints do not scratch or smear even during heavy use. The model is equipped with efficient crawler traction, a movable gun and openable hatch. Under the service flap there is a detailed motor. The set includes blocks with Soviet and Polish markings to choose from, another innovative and fun feature COBI brings to the set. The set is complemented by a figure of a soldier with a Mauser rifle, a cap and a red banner. The easy-to-read manual contains a list of blocks and statistics that you can use in the free COBI Historical Battle Game. This COBI kit is ideal for the construction of dioramas reproducing the Eastern Front. The SU-100 is the perfect gift idea for anyone of any age and a great start to your COBI construction set adventure.

Overall I enjoyed the build

Fun build. Worth the money

  • Cobi fan disappointed
I will start this off by saying I have over 100 cobi models and am a huge fan of there products. I will also say this is the only cobi set I have had to use glue on... First off the build is very unstable in so many areas. Cockpit barely stays closed and attached, the wings and milssle pods are very poorly designed and flimsy would be and understatement. The rotor attachment point is a horrible design and falls off extremely easy. But when it is done its is a wonderful looking model. Don't let this build ruin you on cobi. This is not normal for them trust me. Wait for this to go on sale and you will have some fun. But for $70 USD hard pass. ... show more

  • Beautiful but you might need glue!
Beautiful build but the missiles will not stay together. Had to use glue. This is impossible to play with unfortunately :(

  • Easy to build, nice addition to my display
Had to use super glue to hold wings on, easily fall off due to not structurally sound.

  • Not wright
The pieces did not fit well. Had to use glue to keep it together.

  • Not standard cobi quality
Honestly not good quality for cobi, I have bought alot of coni models and for how expensive this was, it was not worth it.... not a playable model whatsoever. It's a model model, that's it, wings are flimsy and the tail is as well.

  • Horrible
Horrible. This is missing parts and when you put try to put the wings together and the missles on them it falls apart. Dont waste your money.
