I got this to repurpose some old Sony home theater speakers (the dvd player died a while ago). I was planning to throw them away. But with this device I was able to connect the four speakers and sub-woofer and can play my iPhone or TV through this. The iphone connects via bluetooth and the TV connects with the cable provided. Love this. Can now listen to my music through my great Sony speakers or play my TV through them. Good sound and decent volume. ... show more

    • Cheap, effective, works really well, great for loading music or backing tracks
Comes with a serious sized 12v adapter, and though the device is lightweight, it is effective and works quite well. Included are sub par, but easy to understand instructions, a 2.5" to 2.5" stereo wire to hook up your mp3 player, and some RCA cables to 2.5" jack to allow for say an old record player to connect, and a remote with battery, and felt feet to attach to device so it doesn't slip or scratch easily. Seriously gives new life to my old stereo set of speakers for a few reasons. First, I can stream my playlist via Bluetooth from Android phone with no issues. Volume knob on top works well too, and is a great feature for quick adjustment. Second, it has a USB-A plug on the front that supports a 32Gb USB drive max and MP3s. This to me, is the real reason I got it. It allows me to play my guitar backing tracks and I can even repeat them, lower volume, skip all via remote, and not have my phone anywhere near me. Now 50 watt x 50 watt is a bit of an overstatement here. I use a variety of guitar amps and even 5 watt amps are seriously loud. elEspecially in a home environment where everything thing is drywall and serious reverberations occur. I'm not sure about the wattage, because my speakers have their own amps, but I can say that it can ge loud enough if needed. Overall a great addition to being new life to old stuff.     • Basic, but good, bluetooth capable digital power amp
This little digital amplifier is compact and works quite well via bluetooth connection or the 3.5mm stereo input. Cables are included, which is nice. The maximum advertised power certainly will be only about halfway achieved with the included 60W power supply, which is far below what you would want should you be aiming for maximum power output. The 50W+50W output would require closer to a 120W power supply, just so you know, as these amps are not 100% efficient. (no amp is). That said, the output is clear sounding and reasonably loud if you use fairly efficient bookshelf speakers as I did. The media could not be loaded. This amp is ideal for desktop sound systems with limited space. Small Class-D amplifiers have become popular in the compact and budget audio space due to their small size and low cost. If you're looking for decent audiophile quality at a budget price with a small desktop footprint, this amp is a great choice. Paired with small speakers like the Micca Covo-S (or larger options like the Micca RB42 or Polk ES10), you can achieve a decent sound that surpasses typical Bluetooth one-piece boxes because you can spread the speakers out for a better soundstage. I tested the Daakro 50W+50W Mini Bluetooth 5.0 Power Amplifier with larger speakers from Sony SSCS5 to Klipsch KG series, and while it worked well at lower volumes, it struggled with the dynamic range at higher volumes, which is expected given its small size. However, for desktop listening, this amp is all you need. While more expensive audiophile-grade Class-D amplifiers offer RCA input, if you primarily stream Bluetooth audio from your phone or connect your laptop audio via a 3.5mm stereo mini jack, this amp is perfect for you. It's also suitable if you don't plan on playing music at higher volumes. The USB port on the front is designed for playing audio files through a USB flash drive, but you can also use it to keep your phone charged. This is perfect for my application. I just wanted to play a USB drive with my favorite songs through some bookshelf speakers. This does the job and works well.
