I have two 10 ft pillars in front of my house that I was looking to wrap in lighted garland for the holidays. According to the research that I did, if you want to wrap a column or pillar, you should be looking for double the length of the item you're wrapping-- so I needed 20 ft per pillar. I quickly learned that finding lighted garland in a specific length and color is nearly impossible (especially if you want more than 9 feet or lights in cool white like I did) so I adapted and decided to buy garland and lights separately, hoping to find 25ish ft strands of lights and 20ish ft strands of garland. It turns out this is a very unrealistic ask. Then I came across this and decided it can't be that hard to cut it-- and it wasn't! We were able to cut this 50 ft garland in half and use half on each pillar. I picked this one as opposed to some of the other options because it was thicker and fuller looking in the pics...and also perhaps ever-so-slightly more realistic. Bought this for outdoor use. Still not sure if I got my money’s worth, as there was much less volume to it than I expected, but unlike the more voluminous stuff I’ve bought in the past, it did at hold up well against the wind.

I wanted a cheapy garland to make a Christmas tree wall. Reading the reviews, I knew it was thin so I had planned to double up, which seemed like the best thing to do. It doesn't shed as much as I thought a cheapy garland would (yay) but it really is just some green tassels on a string -- nothing fancy. However, I knew all of this and I bought them anyway. I purchased the 50’ garland and it worked well for my stairs but it’s not full and the quality is lacking. I purchased two packs but only needed one…, I’ll be returning the other pack and keeping these for this Christmas only. After the holidays Christmas decorations should be on sale and I’ll purchase a thicker, better quality garland.
