The stainless steal chain is very nice and is good for making necklaces. I was able to fit my pendants on there no problem. I didn’t know how to break the chain at first so I looked up a YouTube vibe on how to use the tools it came with. The twisters it comes with are super thing and bendy and I wasn’t able to use the tools given to break it. Thankfully I had pliers, I was able to use those to break the chain in just a few seconds. Looks deceptively thin but I couldn't cut the links with my jewelry snips, I had to use heavier duty wire cutters so I think we can be pretty confident it's not going to break! Three links are small so you will not be able to use split rings or thicker wire/links to connect, standard jewelry jump rings were a tight fit so a little fiddly to install the first couple of goes, but worked fine. Unlike others I didn't bother measuring mine because for the price I paid, even if it's only seven or eight feet it's value for money and it's exactly what I need. Would buy again. ... show more

I would DEFINITELY buy this if you’re looking for quality chain for jewelry making. I waited to write a review until I could tell you how well it has held up. I bought this over 4 months ago to use as a necklace with a charm that I already had. I used sterling silver jump rings and a ss lobster clasp. I have worn it pretty much every day. I only take it off for showers and that’s only because the charm has black in the engraving and I don’t want the water to cause it to come off. If it weren’t for that reason-I would even wear it to shower. This chain has not lost any of its shine, and of course doesn’t tarnish because it is stainless steel. I wear it with a sterling silver necklace and don’t feel self conscious at all. I really don’t notice a difference in the color or shine between the 2.
