Description

Moose blank decks are made of 100% Rock-Hard Canadian Maple from one of the premier manufacturers in the world. They have a representative at the factory that ensures only the best decks that will become a Moose Skateboard Deck. The ones that didn't reach the desired quality, are sold to everyone else. "Blank Deck" refers to absence of a graphic on the bottom, and says nothing about the quality of the wood itself. Originally "blank decks" were blems and therefore weren't printed. They were then sold at discounted pricing. Today, "blank decks" are out selling graphic decks in many areas. Beware that all "blank decks" are not created equal. Many people sell blems(seconds), and sell them at a super low prices, because that is that they worth, very little. Others buy whatever decks they can get cheap!!! For example Chinese Maple wedged between plies of Canadian Maple to hide it's appearance and lower the cost. Be careful in purchasing "blank decks" lower quality will result in ply fatigue & delamination, and your need to replace this poor quality product.If it doesn't have the Moose seal of approval, then your not skating the best.

These are great for skaters who go through a lot of decks. They don’t delaminate any quicker than some of the best brands. The quality control may be lower however I have noticed every now and then one will be slightly warped. This is very slight and doesn’t ever make a difference.

I saw a few bad reviews for this set of decks and was a little hesitant to purchase. I’m glad I bought them. Upon receiving this product, I did an inspection right away. My biggest concern was delamination. There wasn’t a single sign of it. Although, there were a few small dents on the edges of the board and the clear coat wasn’t all too great either. I mean it wasn’t a bad clear job but it definitely wasn’t a good one either. For the price of decks, I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect. That’s why I still give this a 5 star. It’s probably the best bang for your buck for some blanks. I will be drawing and skating them. I will definitely buy this again. ... show more

These are great for the bulk. I'm a little confused about the titling. You say Canadian maple yet they are made in China. So are there Canadian maple trees in China? Do you send the maple to China then it's assembled? I am not sure how efficient that would be since we are all so close. So my question is, is this truly maple? Thank you ... show more

I bought these to be used for custom painted wall art, so I didn't need the best quality decks. The finish quality is definitely lacking on these, and will get sanded off before I do anything with them. I haven't had the delamination issues that some people have had, but it is concerning to me when thinking about the long term durability even though they'll never be used as a skateboard. ... show more

God my dad jokes never cease to amaze even me! - Anyways - we bought these to make shelves for my son's room as he is really into sk8boarding and so now he has a cool kids room! - probably going to buy more of these to do art on - great for the price - I imagine if you added some grip tape, trucks, and wheels these would more or less operate as a skateboard ... show more

These are some good decks if you want to paint something and use it as a cruiser or a wall mount. If you're going to be riding it hard though it's going to snap faster than a pro board would. Then again for the price point this is to be expected.
