I can throw cups all day, but I cannot pull a handle to save my life. These little cutters have been a game-changer for me. I throw a lot of cylinders, but I don’t like pulling handles. This tool set is perfect for my needs. They have 5 shapes to choose from and are easy to adjust the thickness. This set is a better version than what I have, as it has larger screw knobs to tighten the screws. The wood handles are smooth, and the stainless steel heads are smooth as well. These are good for cutting your mug handles out to attach if you dont want to pull your own handle. overall they are of satisfactory quality and they do what they are intended to do. would recommend.

This set of five, shaped, cutters is perfect for many ceramic projects. They cut the clay like butter and the stainless steel blades clean up easily and do not rust. It’s best to peel the rest of the clay to reveal the cut strip, otherwise it might deform when removing. I like how the thickness of the cut can be adjusted with a thumb screw, no screwdriver required while adjusting. (See pic) The handles are a nice smooth wood construction with a bit of texture so not to be slippery. The box included the five tools each with different shape in a clear plastic storage case. (See pics) No use or care guide was provided.     • Nifty Cutters Make Repeatable Ceramic Handles Easy
These clever cutters are really easy to use. You can adjust the thickness of your handle with a screw that changes the position of a little metal tongue as you pull it through a wedge of firm but moist clay. The handles of these tools are finished very nicely and look like the ends are designed to blend the handles into your vessel. I'd like more profiles. These appear to be similar to the Diamond Core brand Ceramics tools, which are too expensive for me to afford to purchase. I ordered these to use for ceramic mug handles or lid handles. I like the variety of shapes. They are really easy to use. Just pull it through the slab of clay and your handle is done. The tools are a low price compared to Diamond Core.
