  • Cuts everything from hardwood,plastics and other soft materials.Great for curved work,cutting sculpting, gauging and channeling
  • Should the blade hit a nail or piece of wire in wood, on most occasions it will cut through the obstruction. If not, the impact will cause the chain to stop while the discs rotate giving the user a warning to stop the angle grinder. This is a major safety feature which virtually eliminates kickback and binding. All our chains are easily sharpened with a 5/32" (4mm) chain saw file.

Had a change to use it finally. It also works great on removing small/medium roots to stumps and small stumps. Took out two stumps about 8" in diameter and about 4" about ground pretty easily by grinding them down. It was pretty quick also.

    • Gobbles up cypress knees.
I use this on my cypress knees that are just sticking above ground and grind them below the dirt line and add some topsoil over it.

    • would give 5 stars but ---
(1) ok lets get the monster outta way ---- are they dangerous -- you can count on it, esp in a grinder that has detent switch so it is on all the time. --- the real problem is complacency - they cut so quickly it is easy to forget what you are dealing with and become slack jawed. (hold it like your life depends on it ). (2) cut -- depth is limited and may have to girdle the branch , just be sure you can cut through or have a plan "b" ( mine is to use my garden tractor to pull it over -- some one c/o inability to grind stumps - not so mut gust not as fun as a big ol grinder. -- i had a stump approx 6 inches high after dropping a 60 ft pine tree - solution to stump score across top as deep as wheel allows (1.5 inches +/- ) - cut into sides and you end up with square sticks -- - do this 2-3 times as wha la stump is below grade total time for me maybe hour and a half - spread over a few days d/t a bad back .... take away -- stump gone and you have now got 50-60 dollars worth of fat wood in nice 1-2 inch by 6 or 7 inch lengths , on top of that - they are perfect for wood scupturing so use the same hyped up care as you would with a chain saw - - never let your guard down --- sculpr, cut limbs , grind stumps ---- git er done ... show more

Easy to install and worked even better than I expected. Controlling the grinder was not as hard as I expected either. Would buy again but 5 of these will last me quite a while.

    • 50 years of woodworking and this is the most dangerous tool i have ever used please be careful!!!
the product is good. if you are using the typical off the shelf angle grinder you need a half nut on the arbor (not the typical flange shape with the four holes, the blades should freewheel when it binds up for safety)

    • Useless
Idea is great, quality 0. You have to figure out special ring to tight the blades to grainier, standard Bosch, Dewalt etc, does not work. Additionally, even if you tight it correctly, is the way chain(not tied to middle metal rings) move out during the work and perform fatal injury.

    • Great product for carving
Vary good for carving wood and I ground a few small tree stumps in my yard to make it easier to mow. Works very well on small projects.
