Unlike everyone else, I paid for this skeleton - because I have a problem and I'm buying 50 skeletons this season so I can fill my yard with them at Halloween - but that's not the point. The point is I've now bought 30 life size aka 5'4" skeletons from various sellers/manufacturers on Amazon so that I can figure out which is the best quality and most likely to survive 2 months outside this season. My verdict: of the 10 brands I've purchased to-date: this is the 2nd highest quality skeleton (second only to JOYIN). However, it's #1 in terms of value - because I bought this on sale on Prime Day and paid full price for Joyin - AND THIS ONE CAME WITH A DOG SKELETON! Wasn't even in the description so imagine my surprise when it toppled out of the bag! The pro's: this skeleton has some heft to it, it's not as flimsy aka cheap as the other ones. It won't stand completely by itself but pretty close - just needs a little stand or help. It's also truly life size, unlike the cheaper versions that are only 5'4" if you extend their feet (see picture - this one is on the right). It's not cheap chalky white, it's got some yellowing to it for that aged look, although it doesn't have any of the brownish aging detail that the Joyin and one other brand has. Finally, it was easy to put together - the head just snaps in and the bottom half snaps into the spine and then is secured with a screw (that and screwdriver are provided). The only con is that the heft keeps it from being as flexible as the cheap skeletons. Not a big deal - just means this one won't be hung from the gutters or a tree. Personally, I think I should have received a free product because of how many I'm buying and the fact I'm sharing my reviews, but like I said... I have a problem, and the first step is to admit it... ... show more

1st skeleton... This skeleton arrived in good time, packaged well, we just had to snap him together. His head can come off a little easy but he is still good. We just ordered another. 2nd.. we did "buy again" button. For the most part, the skeleton is the same. Different screws hold it together, as well as the new ones face is darker. Her skull is better as it is attached lower. So, for the most part still happy just. Don't expect the exact same. ... show more

Very cheap looking, gaps in the the plastic, the joints are so stiff, it feels like it is going to break when posing it. Save your money and go get one from Home Depot.

In general, this is a pretty good skeleton for Halloween decor. It arrived well packed with clear instructions. The assembly is minimal. My only real concern is regarding its ability to keep a pose. You need to really tighten the bolts to get it to stay and it caused the plastic to split at the seam. I taped it back up and is holding okay. You can fold several keys joints that allow it to remain intact but much smaller for storage. I have always wanted one of these for my yard decor and will update once I see how it does after prolonged exposure to the elements. ... show more

These are a great size. Easy to assemble, not too heavy but sturdy. She is now our back seat cruising partner. She keeps getting moved around in different poses. So much fun!

    • Legs break off easily.
Make sure you open right away and check for defects. We bought early and left put away until time to decorate for Halloween. Both legs are broken at hips on one of them. Cheap quality.

The IDMOP 5.4 ft Halloween Skeleton is fantastic and a very good value. It is big and with the arms and legs being very adjustable it can be staged in a decoration very easily. I also like the ability to store it in a compact bag for storage.
