This is probably the best stainless insulated travel mug deal out there at the $20 price I bought it for. I have a Yeti 30 oz that I love for taking coffee to work because it holds a lot more than I'll usually drink and keeps it hot as long as I want coffee during the day. I bought this specifically for taking a larger cold drink with some ice to have a cold drink at all times during the day, and it's perfect for that (though I'm certain it's just as good for hot as the Yeti). It comes with a plastic straw, a metal straw with silicone tips for each end (one for comfortable mouth-feel and the other for alleviating noise from the metal on the bottom inside the mug), a straw-cleaning brush and a carrying bag for those accessories. Leak-proof aspects of this item’s lid greatly diminished when using the straw through the lid opening, but knockovers are still MUCH less dramatic than with other types of lids/seals! The most endearing feature of this mug is the fact that its lid SCREWS ON! It has a very nice silicone seal that snugly positions the pour spout/straw hole in whichever position you wish to have it (for left-handed or right-handed use). This is watertight, even turning it over and shaking it... I mean, there's literally no way it will leak accidentally. My Yeti fits deep enough in a side pocket of my backpack for the trip to work that I don't worry about it falling out when the zippers slide a little and even then it has fallen on the ground a couple times; this is too tall to fit in the side pocket and I was worried about laying it sideways in the top compartment of the pack due to possible leakage. NO WORRIES there, it DOESN'T LEAK! A tie for favorite feature of this mug is its ability to hold the contents at a temp cold enough that, with about 1/3 filled with ice and filled to the top with cold tea from the fridge, it still had ice in it ELEVEN hours after filling it. And that was with drinking from it throughout the day, not just filling and sealing it as it seems some do to get their claims of temp retention. My next favorite part of this mug is the capacity; so many claim 30 or 40 oz capacity only for it to actually be less than that, or it's measured at waterline. This mug holds a SOLID 40 ounces with room for the lid to be screwed on. So for coffee, you're getting the full 40 oz. For cold beverages with ice, it depends on the amount of ice used, but it holds temp so well you don't need a lot of ice. The color is cool, the finish seems sturdy enough so far. The silicone seals on both the lid seal and the spout seal are very nice material. The plastic lid and spout slider are nice and solid, and the handle is comfortable and seems well made. I paid almost twice as much for my Yeti and this is BETTER. Better capacity, a handle, screw-on lid that's totally leak-proof. Temp retention is probably the same. Not only is this tumbler really pretty, it holds a ton of water and keeps it cold for many hours. It’s very sturdy and easy to use and clean. I like that metal straws were also included. I bring it everywhere I go, love that it also fits in the cup holder in my car!

The BEST CUP EVER! It goes with me wherever I am. For one, I LOVED that I could choose my favorite color from the many choices. I’ve had several versions of this type of mug, but this is now the only one I’ll need or use, as it’s made to be sturdy. I don’t think I’ll ever need to replace this cup. The 2nd thing is that it has the smaller base and will fit in my car cup space, also the space in my recliner. I also love the fact it has a handle that I can hold onto, and is light enough to hold easily, while also being a large size and it holds a lot of water and ice. It also stays ICE COLD! I’m also happy that the lid screws onto the cup, others I’ve had will pop off should it fall over, as with other ones I’ve had, left me with many spills to clean up, often just as I’m walking out the door! I bought this cup in September, when it was still 100 degrees around here. I left my ice water closed up in my truck, and it still had ice 4 hours later! I stick it in the dishwasher and haven't had any chipping or problems with the color fading. It washes well (and the lid too). This cup still looks brand new even though it is a few months later and I love it! I tried a hot coffee and it kept it hot until I consumed all the coffee over the course of an hour. If you are looking for easy maintenance and something to keep your drink a good temperature, this is your cup. One thing to keep in mind, the cup is tall. I have to store it with my pitchers. Mine does not leak, but if I were to knock it over, it would leak around and from the straw area. ... show more
