These light-up sword sabers have been a huge hit! The kids absolutely love them, and they haven’t put them down since we got them. This arrived later than expected, but worth it! My son and his friends spent a night in (not gentle) battles in the dark, and all four survived for another day! At this price, I figured they’d be good for one night of teenage combat, but was impressed that all four survived! They came with batteries installed. The media could not be loaded. Purchased end of Sept. for Halloween 2023. Sounds, functionality, look and price (for 4) were perfect for my Elementary school age son (Star Wars fan). Awesome there are 4 and multiple colors. They took a bit of a beating between him and his brother, but with limited use. after about 4 months, they began to breakdown (not extend or not contract; blade pieces cracked). Still like them for the reasons listed above and will likely by them again for Halloween 2024 (still growing into Jedi cosplay costume). ... show more

    • Don’t extend well and turn on easily
They’re cool, and my son and his friends enjoyed them, but you really have to work at it to get them to open, and good luck trying to get them to fully collapse. It’s a several attempts to do it project. I ended up with two sets by mistake after Amazon changed my billing method without my consent and did not use the points on my credit card. I ended up pulling out two defective ones from each of the two packages to get a working set, sort of. Again, they don’t open or collapse well. Really good deal on 4 light saber swords. I like that they retract all the way into the handle. On the stronger side, but can still crack if you hit them too hard. packing tape fixes that.
