    • Solid Tires Are the Way to Go
I replaced my hand truck tires with these solid tires and I'm really happy with them. This isn't my first time swapping air-filled tires for solid ones. I swapped out the tires on my garden cart a couple of years ago and never looked back. No more filling them with air. No more punctures and flat tires. The only negative is that these wheels are heavier and harder than the air-filled variety, but well worth the tradeoff in my opinion. Just don't leave them sitting in one place with a heavy load for too long, as they can start to develop a flat spot. Highly recommend these. ... show more

Takes about ten seconds to remove and replace each cotter pin in order to swap these onto a hand truck. I’ll be glad to be done with flat tires, but I will say I miss the cushion of pneumatic tires on stairs or rough terrain. These foam filled ones have almost no give. I got these for my hand truck that had one bad tire. I figured instead of replacing just the one tire with a standard blow up style I would try these. They came with a new set of cotter pins which I thought was a nice touch. They fit perfectly and rolled just as well as the blow up kind I had when they both still held air. Aside from these being a little heavier than the air tires these are better in every way. Since I won't be carrying my hand truck around the extra weight isn't an issue. Now I can keep my hand truck in my shed even in the winter without worrying about the tire going flat. ... show more

I ordered these tires for our garden cart. Every season the tires were low, and would never stay full, causing them to require constant filling, and once the cart was in use, the tires wouldn't hold air making the cart undesirable to use. When I saw these tires, I had to try them, and am so glad I did as not only do they fit, they work marvelously! Not only do I feel more productive as I am using my cart more, but I am spending zero time having to fill tires, and fight with inflation issues when working around the yard. For me, these tires were a total win, instant upgrade from the perpetually flat tires previously on my garden cart. This is the perfect replacement for a tube tire that was on our folding lightweight wheelbarrow since the tire was always going flat. This no flat tire will assure that it will never have that problem again. The biggest negative to replace the air filled tube tire with this solid no flat tire is the significantly increased weight of this tire. The hubs on this pair of tires/wheels has an integrated bearing on one side only. Since I needed this to go on a lightweight wheelbarrow with the tire centered I easily removed the four bolts holding on the bearing section of the hub and mounted two of the bearing sections onto one wheel. I am sure there are many other applications that could benefit from these flat less tires. The bearing is designed to fit a 5/8” axle. ... show more
