I thought the concept of a two-headed bit was handy. Lots of my screwdriver bits are two-headed so it's about time someone adapted the idea to nail drill bits. That said, I would not call these bits extra-fine. The two-headed bit is good for removing product but I think the other bit, for cuticles, is too big and too coarse, but I can use it for grinding down product near the cuticles for fills. ... show more

    • Kinda harsh on cuticles but still useful
I have two inexpensive nail drills, and these bits fit one drill but not the other so they aren’t universal. I thought the “safety” cuticle drill bit was surprisingly harsh on my cuticles given the product description. The double sided bit was useful for removing gel polish and builder gel so I’ll continue to use that one. This product is competitively priced with similar bits at $6.99. I gave it 3 stars because: 1) the bits aren’t universal 2) the two sided bit is still useful to me and 3) perhaps I have especially sensitive cuticles and other users won’t find the cuticle bit too harsh.. ... show more

These are heavy and sturdy. There is no risk of bending under normal use. Different edges and points achieve different strokes on the skin. These are great for increasing surface blood flow, which is obvious by the pinking up of the skin. I ordered these ultra fine carbide bits because I have been saving money and doing my own gel manis and pedis at home. The heads on these bits are sharp and much better than the beginner friendly default bits that come with the standard efile. I use these on the lowest setting possible and they do a wonderful job of removing product as well as cleaning up the nail bed and cuticle area. I use a very light hand just because the teeth on these are sharp and want to make sure not to damage the skin or nail bed. Good quality materials.     • good for nails, but not sure about cuticles
I'm happy to confirm that these bits fit my electric nail drill. I tested the bits on my nails and cuticles. The fine teeth works okay on the surface of the nails...but the cuticles wasn't remove so much. I find other tools work better for that. I believe these bits are good for hard to get areas and a little removal or polish works best. ... show more

These bits work with the dremel I have, so they are standard size. It came with 2 bits, both one ended, unlike the description that states one is double sided. Also, in the description it states one is for smoothing and buffing ?? Umm, metal drill bits are not typically used for that. So, if you are purchasing for that particular reason, you will be disappointed. One is s a little deeper than the other, so just more sanding power. But I like the fineness of them for around cuticles and under the nail to smooth out. So for those reasons, I like them. I do dislike the false advertising on the description however. ... show more

    • These are great for nails cuticles not so much.
These hold up very well under heay use for nails, but for cuticals they can be quite harsh. The value is amazing with the discount and am sure will get tons of use from them.
