Very happy with these. They come nice and clean (with the help of some InkEeze and a dry paper towel), and they're thick enough that your practice won't push through to the other side and into whatever surface you're working on. As a more advanced tattoo artist myself I’d say this is my safe option but there are definitely some negative things for one just like most fake skins you’ll have to do 3 to 5 passes just to make the line visible second you have to wipe the stencil away 30 min to hour if not the stencil will stay on no matter what try but again that’s pretty much all fake skins:)) ... show more

These skins are great for pulling lines, shading, and practicing just about any technique to build your skills. When tattooing real skin, you want to get the ink into the dermis which is about 2mm deep and these skins are 3mm thick so you can practice your depth control. Other skins are super thin and with those you run the risk of puncturing through them and drilling into your table which is a quick way to blunt your needles. As long as you don’t punch through the skin, you can tattoo the backside so you can get even more use out of them. This is not an option with thinner skins because the ink typically bleeds through the backside. Each skin is also individually wrapped which is nice because it keeps your skins clean and cuts down on your prep work before you start tattooing. I would still recommend you wipe them down with detergent or alcohol to get rid of any residual grease before you lay down a stencil or pull lines. These skins are stretchy and the surface is nice and smooth just like real skin. Also, measuring 7.5 in x 11.75 in, these skins are perfect for practicing larger pieces and would be appropriate for showcasing your work to potential clients or employers. Where do I start for one the fake skin doesn't take the ink unless you use tremendous pressure and risk damaging your tattoo machine . Dulls cartrage very quickly. Have to make pass over pass over pass for your black ink (Dynamic xxxblack brand I use) and when you go to clean up are you just tattooed the ink is very hard to remove and you rub off your stencil during clean up whitch leaves you guess on you design. I do not recommend these skins for practice because a beginner tattooist may think same pressure needs to be applied for human skin and ot would seriously damage the client skin and all lines would be blown out. Absolutely a waste of your money and time. Better off spending the extra cash for realskins or frankenskins easy clean up feel more closely to human skin . This stuff feels like a basketball and bounces your needle all over Maki g it impossible to tattoo clean. ... show more
