I never knew that this existed until I needed it. Works great, has held up all summer. I patched the hole using it and then painted over it to match the body. We’ll see if it survives the rough Michigan winter. Easy to work work and apply, just make sure you rub it down real well when a screwdriver handle to get the best adhesion. Great product. Who knew you could have thin metal that adheres! I used this for patching an ooold, I mean real ooldd rusty metal door. Worked great. Saved me from replacing the door! Shortfall-- expensive amount of tape you get.. Loose a star on $$$

I have to re-write my initial review.... the package was delivered but had been moved accidently and only recently discovered. I use this tape on a bad rust leak around my windshield and water was coming into my car.. this tape works very well and no more leaks. I needed additional tape for other spots and apparently the delivery was timely, but I failed to look hard enough for it.. My apologies ... show more

I bought it for a small area of rust repair on my car. A small one inch hole had developed as I cleaned some rust away. After cleaning and spraying a few coats of rubberized spray everywhere ... inside and out ... I applied the tape the next day, after everything was completely dry. It was easy to work with and that hole is history ... I hope. If I stopped any further rusting then the tape patch should work. ... show more
