This Mikesier 3in1 Single Serve Coffee Maker for K Cup and Ground Coffee is FANTASTIC, and I've put my other coffee makers out in the garage. This has all the features I like: it works with K cups AND with ground coffee, including a nice-sized ground coffee basket that is much easier to work with than the K cup inserts for grounds. I love that I can go up to 14oz with this machine, and of course the frother with its multiple settings (including unheated which is what I've been using) is handy. The controls are very straightforward and it makes coffee/lattes/etc quickly and easily. Easy to clean the pod holder and the basket too. I was very skeptical about buying am unknown Chinese brand coffee maker. But I am pleasantly surprised with this one, Easy to setup and operate and the coffee comes out great. Both regular Pods and the grounds basket work and produce good coffee. I am still wondering how this will stand up over time. That is yet to be seen. However after a couple weeks, seems to be a fine coffee maker. ... show more

I've meant to buy a frother, and this one looked nice. A good size for coffee as well, and I don't use pods, so it's fine. I like having the option so I'll have it later if I want to try it. Next winter I'll be trying hot chocolate with this. It might not clean up easily, so I doubt that would be such a good use for it. For now it brews whatever size I want, of plain coffee. I'm rather impressed with this coffee maker. I've been using it for well over a week now and it's been working great. First thing of note is that it is pretty fast in the initial heating. I have another, name brand single serve coffee maker that takes quite a while to heat up. This one can complete a full 14 oz cup o' Joe in less time than the name brand can even warm up. Plus this one has a milk frother, which is detachable. I don't normally use frothed milk, but my daughter does and some of my friends and family do like it. So whenever I have company, I can just take the frother out of the cabinet and plug it into the side. I prefer using just regular ground coffee and this does a nice job with grounds. It also works equally well with K-Cups. I feel this is a quality product at the perfect price point. I've seen single-serve coffee makers for sale at higher price points but without the frother. Some of them also only do coffee pods or grounds, but not both. ... show more

These K cup coffee makers are hugely popular. And I see a lot of single serve options that take up very little space but still offer a decent variety of coffee sizes and types. This is the first I've seen that includes a milk frother! You do have a smallish reservoir that will require frequent refills but for one person it would last a day assuming they have the average cup size. Adding the milk frother is like transforming this coffee maker into a full cappuccino machine at a price that any college student can afford. I use K cups so I can't comment on the coffee grounds adapter. But the options for this one unit are very impressive. ... show more

    • EXACTLY what I was looking for!
I ordered this coffee maker because of its versatility. I have several coffee pods of coffee, but never had a K-cup coffee maker until now. Now, I can actually use all my wonderful flavored coffees that I was gifted. So happy! But, my husband doesn't care for flavored coffee, so he just wants "real" coffee, as he says. You can do that with this machine as well! It comes with a separate basket that you can fill with your own coffee grounds and make your own coffee. The best part about this machine is that it also includes a milk frother! Yes, a milk frother! My morning coffee has definitely been stepped up now with this product, and I am happy about it. Now, for the negatives: A bit of a learning curve. Directions are not very clear, so there's a bit of trial and error. I was able to figure it out, but I wasted about three pods of coffee while doing so. The basket that holds the regular coffee grounds (when you don't use a K-cup) is difficult to clean, and a small amount of the grounds will end up in your coffee cup. Also, the back of the machine has a removable "lid" over the reservoir where the water goes. That lid is almost useless. It's very flimsy, and if you don't get ahold of it just right, it will fall down into the water holder. This part needs to be better. All in all, I am really happy with this device and I think the price is very fair. Four stars. ... show more
