It looks like a good deal but I couldn't use them, partly because the kit did not include the sizing chart in the cover as shown in the picture and I wasn't going to risk messing my stuff or these cores up.

This kit contains the Schrader valve cores needed for most automotive AC systems, at a price well below what a local shop would charge me for just the two that I needed. The kit included the tool needed to remove and install the valve cores. It would have been nice to include the identification label as shown in one of the photos, but in the end I had to match the ones removed. The tool will slightly bow the plastic box top and allow the valves to migrate from one section of the box to another. ... show more

From prior purchases locally , the tools were not exact fitting . I had to use my, DREMEL TOOL to widen the tools, capacity of fitting the A/C valve cores. This set needed the same adjustment.

The valves seems like good quality and materials. I don't know if I got a bad tool but mine broke right away, or rather one of the ears bent and was about to break off. Other wise I say it's good to go.

Only needed two valve cores (one for the low side and the other for the high side in a car's AC line) but for the price to get 39 pieces... why not!? The tool is ok and it works but it isn't something to rave about. The Schrader valve I used (R12) in this package was silver but the old one taken off my vehicle appeared to be bronze. Not sure if this really matters. Mine did not come with the paper label as shown in the ad. Would be nice to know which piece is which. I ended up using the ad as a reference and wrote in the names of different pieces on the plastic case. Besides that not much else to say. ... show more

A month ago, I replaced my high and low pressure service valves with 2 valve cores from this set. The valves are holding up fine so far. The wider notch in the tool spread out a little bit, but my high pressure valve core was extremely tight - pliars on the tool handle tight. I will be looking for a better tool, but in the mean time, the tool with this set did get the job done. ... show more
