Having different makes and models of electric golf cars in our fleet, it was refreshing to find a company that produced chargers that are compatible with different models. I can tell you that not all golf car chargers are created equal. In fact, many are cheaply made and unreliable not to mention slow charging with a high failure rate. These chargers from YILEIDE are wonderful. They are heavier duty than their competitors by far. The design was well thought out and charging couldn't be more simple.     • Great price for replacement charger
My last battery charger bit the dust so I had to find a replacement that had the 2 pin plug. This one is a third the size and weight of my old one which makes it so much easier to use. Its more quiet than my original charger that made humming noise when charging. Price is reasonable as used units are twice as much and a new one at the local golf cart shop was $450. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These new Smart golf cart chargers from YILEIDE are well-designed, well-manufactured, and easy to operate. They are all built with the same basic chassis, power cord, and charging cord, and the required electronics are just soldered in and the correct plug for the cart is attached to the charging cord. And this is a good thing because the manufacturing process is consistent, making them one of the most reliable on the market. The size is remarkably compact, comes with a built-in carrying handle, and they will operate with carts with an On Board Computer or without. And if the OBC is malfunctioning, they give you an easy diagram showing you how to bypass the malfunctioning OBC. Operation is simple - just plug the charger into a 110AC wall outlet, and the indicator light flashes yellow. Plug the charging cord into the cart, and it will slowly flash green when the charge is under 90%, fast when over 90%, and then solid green when the charge is 100%. At that point, the charger stops charging to avoid damaging your batteries. It's a new generation "smart" trickle charge that avoids the issues that can occur with fast chargers and is nearly foolproof when using it. I ordered this charger because some of our friends are located a fair ride away. We have a large neighborhood and enjoy visiting friends. The cart we have is fine, but with the hills, it puts a strain on the battery. It's nice to have the charger with us. We can plug in when we arrive and we're good to go when it's time to leave. Nice that it features a carry handle. The charger works well and charges fairly quickly. We can use this charger if any of our friends needs a charge. I have tried the cheap chargers, and they would only last a year or so. This product is smarter, and keeps the cart charged if left unattended for long periods. The quality is noticeable first off.
