this speaker was a good choice for me. i love how good the audio quality is - it gets quite loud and carries well, too. its bass is pretty strong, i would consider this competitive to other mid-high quality portable speakers. i love the lights and how many ways you can customize them. it's so cool that you can sync them to the music itself if you want. it was also really easy to set up. the only con is that i did not realize the ONLY power source for this speaker is the cigarette lighter receptacle or direct wiring. i had hoped i would be able to use this at home if "fully charged" as well, or via a different source of power. i understand this is meant to be mounted but i like a speaker that is portable enough you can use it multiple places on-the-go or in your daily life. ... show more

I have a curved monitor and it still worked. It’s loud and easy to install and operate. It’s not big and bulky. Very nice looking. Highly recommend for the price. Sound is great too.

    • Finally hear your music in a noisy side-by-side
My boss is a really great guy. He looked out for me recently when it came to a promotion, and I wanted to say thank you with a gift. He has a 40+ acre yard and loves driving with his grandkids in his side-by-side. His buddy has a JBL party speaker mounted to his and you can hear that over all the noise the machine makes. This performs even better than the JBL. It needs 12 volts for power so you can't really use it as a standalone speaker. But it looks and sounds great. It's a little pricey as well but it's exactly what he was looking for. I felt it was a gift well received. ... show more

    • Gets loud but has disappointingly tinny sound
I was really hoping this speaker would be usable but it just has zero bass. Even my little Bose Soundlink mini 2 can produce much more bass. Even just a fraction of the quality of the Sony XB33 speaker would’ve been enough. On the other hand it’s really heavy do you’d hope it can at least survive the elements since it’s meant to be mounted on an ATV. The little control panel is reminiscent of a simple boat or RV audio panel. The cables (12V cigarette lighter) power, USB, female L/R RCA, and female 3.5mm aren’t removable and are bulky so it’ll be a pain to try to hide alongside the other cables. For this price you might be better off just getting a Sony Bluetooth speaker with a wired input and charge through the 12V battery because at least it’ll be waterproof and pump out more than enough volume. Even with a deep discount you can do so much better ... show more
