I ordered this jacket in XL. I am 191# and 5’6 1/2. The XL was very tight across my chest and I am not well endowed. I had to return it and order a XXL. That size works well, though a little large in the shoulders. I’ll still keep it because I like the length as well as the built in fleece lining. It’s warm and yet lightweight. I love the blue/gray color. I’ll be taking this jacket on our cruise to Alaska. The weight of the jacket will be perfect for glacier viewing! ... show more

Bought this for an April trip to Chicago, it was great. Weather 40s to 50s (F) and 10-20 winds with rain. The outer fabric is waterproof (not just resistant) and feels substantial but not plasticky. Inner fabric is a thin fleece, warm but not suffocating. I like the classic style, a perfect city look vs the camping/hiking vibe. I normally wear 20/2xl but needed a 3xl for this coat. Had room for a sweater underneath. Definitely needed to zip up from the bottom while sitting. The hood fit fine, love the dark green color. It really is a bargain at this price. I needed a lightweight but warm enough coat for a fall trip to the mountains. Having it water resistant a plus for those dewy morning hikes. This coat delivered in spades. Not only lightweight enough to roll into a backpack, it provided plenty of warmth with the soft lining (also used as a pillow to sleep on the flight home). It has velcro tabs to tighten down the sleeves and waist adjustments on both sides on the inside to cinch the waist closer to your body. The zipper is solid and there is a snap flap over for added protection from the elements. Wonderful pockets, even deep ones on the inside, to carry everything. Size: Medium Color: Style 1-midnightblue
I was fully prepared to return this coat if it looked silly on my 4'11" frame - the length might have been too extreme, or the sleeves drooping over my hands. I bought a medium to leave plenty of room for bulky sweater underneath To my surprise, the sleeves are just fine! They have elastic at the wrists inside, and an adjustable velcro strip on the outside. The length is longer than a car coat, comes to a few inches above my knees, but the length appears sleek and natural. There's an internal drawstring at the waist that I haven't quite figured out yet, but the coat is actually flattering even without a defined waist. The label says it has "4 way stretch," which may be only a little bit because I don't really feel a lot of stretch, but I guess it's just enough for a flattering fit. I can choose to zip, or just use the snaps. The hood is attached, and I was pleasantly surprised that it covered my head without drooping over to obscure my vision. And it has 2 huge internal pockets, big enough for a wallet, cell phone, and pair of gloves. It was drizzling outside this morning, so I put on the coat and stood outside - yes, it's waterproof! Lined with fleece, I think it will be perfect for a trip to cold, rainy Europe this winter, and sophisticated enough for museums and restaurants. The hood and fleece lining do not detach. I normally wear a 2X but after reading other reviews, I ordered up a size and it fits perfectly with some room for a sweater. I'm an apple shape, 5'7", 200lbs. The wine color is a deep and rich burgundy, 2 way zipper, hidden snaps, storm flap, waist you can cinch in, 2 big inside pockets, 2 outside zipper pockets, nice hood that can be cinched tighter around the face, velcro on cuffs to cinch cuffs tighter, nice soft gray fleece lining, and excellent workmanship! This jacket is really nice, light weight, lined and warm. Love the interior pockets, and the exterior zippered pockets. BUT... says water resistant and water proof.... NOT! This jacket is a sponge, and you will end up walking around with 10 extra pounds of soaked up water in this jacket. Only get this if you want a windbreaker type jacket that is nice looking and lined and it's NOT raining. ... show more
